See I wouldn't have a huge issue with Hardy signing on to SS because his face was covered and he was making up a silly voice in TDKR. Not saying it wouldn't be weird but I wouldn't be bothered too much.

I liked Kevin Durand in a few episodes of Stargate SG-1, he was a creepy villain...

Part of me is hoping Hardy turns down Suicide Squad, only because I have no idea who he's playing, so he can be Apocalypse in X-Men Apocalypse. Apocalypse is my favorite X-Men villain and Hardy would just own in that.

It would be nice if Hardy weren't only up for big comic book villain roles.

Joel Schumacher is writing a Batman comic for DC which will use his treatments for Batman Forever, Batman and Robin and Batman Triumphant in a year long series:

Also, it looks like Marvel is getting ready to announce stuff on Tuesday. Speculation is that a female superhero movie for May 5 2017 will be on the list just to get a jump on Wonder Woman.

I am interested, Donner did contribute to Superman comics, which was nice.

Joel Schumacher could have made really good Batman movie but the Studio wanted a campy movie.

I want Hardy to sign for both, Suicide Squad and X-men Apocalypse.

ray stevenson is an asgardian already. these suggestions for casting actors already involved in other properties are incredibly unimaginative. same with elba.

Yeah & your point being? Until you made that remark, I had completely even forgot Stevenson being in Thor. And he's an Asgardian, big deal. Same thing with Elba. They played 3rd tier supporting characters in a set of films that more than likely will be a trilogy anyway. It's not like people have suggested two major characters (with the exception of Tom Hardy), its suggesting an actor that has been in many genre films (Punisher, GI Joe) & wanting him in a role that fits like a glove. You're saying it like it's Ryan Reynolds playing Deadpool & GL. So wait, actors can only portray characters in Marvel films & DC films if its not at the same time? Like Chris Evans or (gulp) Ben Affleck. It's ridiculous. I think people can tell the difference in this day & age of people playing multiple genre roles.

Deadline Reported that Tom Harday was close to signing on so who knows?

I had no idea they were making a Ghost in the Shell.

Hardy would make an amazing Deathstroke, I don't care if he's a little too young for the role. They can always age him up on film.

I think he could play an older veteran quite easily compared to most actors his age too.

Deathstroke is NOT an old man. Deathstroke has NEVER been an old man. The white hair is from the serum not aging. The age range for Deathstroke is in his forties, not over fifty. So Any actor that despite what ever age they actually are that can pass for that age range will be fine.

Too bad, they won't be able to get Manu. He killed it as Deathstroke on Arrow and their suicide squad is on point.

The more I think about it, the more I think Manu's Slade is my favorite live action DC villain since Ledger's Joker. He was so on point.
