Can I just say how genius the Jared Leto Joker casting is? (If true.) Not only is Leto an Oscar-winning actor, he's a rock star (30 Seconds to Mars). The Joker to me is like a rock star, and he is literally being played by a rock star. That's so brilliant. :word:

still not official yet, but with filming for SS starting in the spring, I hope we get some casting announcements soon.

God I cannot wait for this freakin teaser trailer. No teaser can possibly live up to my expectations though which is cool as long as it's interesting.

I hope it's something along the lines of the teaser of AOU. Gives us plenty of footage, but we haven't a single idea of what the movie is about.

That would be good.

I'm skipping way ahead into the future but I think we'll hear actual music from the film in subsequent trailers like we did with Man of Steel, like Batman's theme perhaps. It's going to be an exciting time for us.

We haven't gotten any set photos of Wonder Woman either, have we?

Though since Gadot is still filming, I may be speaking too soon. Part of me hopes we see some, while the other part of me wants everything to be revealed on the big screen.

I hope we don't get to see Gal in the costume on set in New Mexico.

That would be good.

Oh indeed. I kinda hope Zack takes the approach Hans and Chris Nolan took with Interstellar and release the score after the film has been released so we could experience it first hand.

Do fans have a hard time avoiding the official releases of the score/music? Those have always been easy for me to wait until I hear it in theaters.

I think we won't get the cast announcements till the cast contracts have completely closed. We will most likely get a press release a week or two before filming officially commences like WB does with most of their announcements. That release will include the cast and the roles they are playing along with quotes from Ayer, Snyder (if he is involved), Johns, Tsujihara and some of the cast members.

Surviving the Jan-March lull is going to be the most difficult for me. Once we get to April 2015 onward I expect time to move quickly.

not everything about the movie has to be a secret before it comes out
I don't think anybody is saying everything has to be a secret. Hiding a film too much hurts opening weekend numbers so we all know that's not going to happen. I think TNN and Haz were just referring to the score.

Interstellar only opened with 47 million, nobody is expecting WB to follow Paramount's and Nolan's "show nothing interesting" lack luster marketing campaign.

Just looked at WB's release calendar. BvS is effectively WB's next big blockbuster tentpole movie after Hobbit 3. They have nothing that looks like it will be huge in 2015. They will have some solid mid-level performers, but no major blockbuster on the horizon in 2015, their 2015 will be like Universal's 2014 where Universal had plenty of hits, but nothing that broke 200M domestic.

The movies WB are releasing between Hobbit 3 and BvS

American Sniper 12/25/14
Max (2015) 1/30/15
Jupiter Ascending 2/6/15
Focus (2015) 2/27/15
Heart of the Sea 3/13/15
Get Hard 3/27/15
Hillsong - Let Hope Rise 4/1/15
Run All Night 4/17/15
The Water Diviner 4/24/15
Untitled Reese Witherspoon/Sofia Vergara Comedy 5/8/15
Mad Max: Fury Road 5/15/15
San Andreas 5/29/15
Entourage 6/5/15
Magic Mike XXL 7/1/15
Untitled Peter Pan Adventure 7/17/15
Point Break (2015) 7/31/15
The Man From U.N.C.L.E. 8/14/15
Me Before You 8/21/15
Untitled Whitey Bulger Film 9/18/15
The Intern 9/25/15
Midnight Special 11/25/15
How to Be Single 2/12/16

The bolded ones will probably be the most successful ones before BvS, in my opinion.

Suits me if WB give real focus to DC properties going forward rather than find the next Harry Potter.

What they should've been doing the whole time imo. I'd take a dc studios that could put out movies.

I think we're bound to get BvS trailers with at least three of the following films:

The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies
Avengers: Age of Ultron
Mad Max: Fury Road
The Man from UNCLE
Star Wars: The Force Awakens

That Peter Pan movie is more of a tentpole film than The Man From U.N.C.L.E. It has a better release date, is based on a more popular property and it's starring Hugh Jackman. I don't know why, with all the talent involved, people on here see that film as a joke?
