[I SEE SPIDEY]

I was super excited when the animated set up the Cheetah for the sequel and then...crickets.

Especially since the WW animated was one of the best sellers. The problem was it sold slow and steady over time and wasn't a huge hit out of the gate.

I've been wondering. Is Spidey your fav hero?

I adore Spidey and always will have a special place for him in my heart but he is no longer my favorite Superhero. He's still firmly in my top 3 though.

My favorites rotate so it's never a set thing with me but Superman and Batman are 1 and 2. Captain America is probably 4 but only because of the movies.

Pipe dream, but if I were running the show, the Con before INFINITY WAR and JUSTICE LEAGUE drop, I would have as many participants of both casts at a panel together. I mean... It is COMIC-Con. What better way to show how this fandom has conquered the world than showing the array of talent that has been assembled to bring the characters of DC Comics and Marvel Comics to life, together. Hell, find some way to tie a charity or something into the proceedings to sweeten the deal some way. Imagine seeing Ben, Henry, Gal, Jason, Ray, and Ezra next to RDJ, Evans, Hemmsworth, Renner, Jackson, ScarJo ect. with Snyder and Whedon/The Russos all MC'd by Kevin Smith and Chris Hardwick?

I have been agnostic but hopeful about Gal being cast. But the hate is so freakin' dumb at this point. She's got the role. She's not stick thin anymore. Her assignment in the IDF concerned physical fitness. The too thin stuff is, with no due respect. Whiny fanboy nonsense.

At least that's recent, that signature is goin away as soon as the new Spidey is cast since I plan on giving the new guy a chance when he comes. You're not giving Gal a chance and insulting her without seeing her in the role.

My feeling on Gadot is that I didn't see her audition tape nor have I seen her in the film so who am I to say that she isn't perfect for the role?

As for the body thing, most actresses, even ones who play in action films, are super thin to me. That's just Hollywood for ya.

Seeing those two casts interact in a casual setting alone would be worth the price of admission. Those in attendance could dine out on that story for years. "I was there when the AVENGERS/JUSTICE LEAGUE cast were together at SDCC, and Afleck and RDJ got up and hugged and the crowd went wild."

Of course if it goes badly you could still have a tale to tell. "Man, I was there when the fight broke out at the DC/Marvel panel. I got one of Ruffalo's teeth after Cavill knocked it out and some of Ben Affleck's hair that ScarJo pulled of his head."

Either way it would be a hell of a show.
