It's on youtube. If you search BvS by most recent, you'll come across it. It's literally five seconds but seems less than that. I don't regret watching cuz you couldn't see much anyway. Also, Zacks pic last night is bae

thank you zack, now we can manip batman properly :)

When the camera first on Superman, in the last frame you can see that he's not just running normally. There's a blur indicating a superhuman speed.

And in his way he seems to go through a barrier like it's nothing.

I think the poor quality of the leaked footage and the lack of sound doesn't convey the sense of speed as the real thing.

But if you look enough, you'll see it.

Also, if he holds back he would do that in the beginning of the fight, and I think this is in the middle. Superman wouldn't charge like that without getting really upset. Look at that face!

I went to the event and in IMAX it looked like they both are on a lower level, almost like they fell through, and Superman gets up mad and charges but he for sure didn't look hurt or that he was using his powers against Batman.

Someone brought this up in the IMAX thread... The rain. What if Batman did something with the rain? Seeded it with Kryptonite? Hmm...

All wrong. Batman put a piece of Kryptonite soaked lettuce on Supermans Hardee's burger. Batman laughed so hard he spit out his Diet Dr. Pepper.

Cue logo.

I laughed too much at this. :hehe:

I'm he and/or Luthor were able to find reverse engineer the World Engine and create a machine that creates rain like the water surrounding the world engine it could work.

Ohhh I love knowing that our next trailer in the coming months will be bigger, better, and have twice as many haters. I watched a 15 minute rant video yesterday of some kid saying that BvS "will suck" for reasons like "Batman doesn't stand a chance", and "it will get too political" and its "non stop exposition". It was a complete waste of time watching him rant, but I realized soon that he had no valid arguments, was making things up as he went along, and basically pretended he knew what it was all about. I came to realize one thing about the haters: They're scared.

"You'll always fear what you don't understand."

And by the way, I asked this last night but didn't get an answer in all the posts that were happening. Has a trailer event happened like this before? Let alone with such success and attendance? To be honest, I don't recall ever seeing an event like this for some footage that mostly everyone has already seen. Will something similar happen for the next trailer?

Except it wasnt the water that weaken him...it was the air.

Wild theory: What if Lex is using the world engine to cause disasters? And making it seem like Supes is doing it and manufacturing his heroic rescues? This would fit with the rain, and the apparent flooding in those set pics.

Well he never touched the water and if it's Krypton's air and rocks weaken him it's not that big of a leap to think that the water weakens him too.

anything irradiated with the red solar energy most likely.

LOL Retro Dawn of Justice.

Some days you just can't get rid of a god...

What if Batman put kryptonite in Superman's hair glue?

Hmm, idk. Weather manipulation might be a little much, which I know sounds ridiculous given the universe, but it all depends on how it's explained.

Though it does raise the question of whether the world engine had any other kinds of effects aside from destruction. It's a very logical question given how much work it was doing and I wouldn't be surprised if it's brought up.
I imagine Superman went to help as many people as possible who were effected by the engine following the events of MoS.
The flood set could be from that or a regular present day flood.

The bridging of the events is very intriguing to me.

The world engine appeared to be sending huge pulsating shockwaves directly through the Earth's core. I wouldn't be surprised at all if there are geological and meteorological consequences shown in BvS as a direct result of that - flooding, earthquakes, etc. In fact it would (in my opinion) be bit weird if there weren't consequences of a global terra-forming machine like that which had been in operation, even if only for a few minutes.

It would also be a bit of a wink and a nod to 1978's Superman, where Luthor's detonation of one of the two missiles he launched directly resulted in a dam flooding and an earthquake which resulted in Lois's short-lived (pardon the pun) death. It would be quite ironic if this businessman Luthor - even though he's not a glorified property developer like Hackman's - exploits the same conditions to manipulate people against Superman.

Except during the fight we do see him go through the water. Nothing in the movie suggested that krypton rocks weaken him. The machine was making earth like Krypton...every time Superman would go weak during the fight...he would cough. Its the atmosphere weakining him. Not the water.

Imagine if Batman uses Lois against Superman in some way, ala his use of WW in the Red Son fight. That would really up the stakes!
