But with TDK..He totally killed Harvey.

He could have done a million different things in that scene. I mean, It's Batman, he should have snuck up behind dent and restrained him before he started aiming guns at people.
That's how the plot of the film went and I think it worked.
Dr. has a point, there is a huge difference between going out with killing as the motive and having it be an untended consequence.
Frankly Batman paid dearly for that aspect as we saw, him having to disappear for years and what-not. I think they handled that aspect well.
It was miles from Batman strapping a bomb to a good and grinning maniacally.

Although in that film I didn't have a huge problem with it since the whole movie was so abstract.
"That's for hurting young boys, Harvey."Batman'89: Kills Joker, goons at Axis
Batman Returns: Kills circus thugs, Penguin
Batman Forever: Kills Two-Face
Batman and Robin: Nada
Batman Begins: Explodes LOS people, kills Ra's
TDK: Kills Two-Face
TDKR: Kills Talia al Ghul, intends to kill Bane but Catwoman does it instead

But in this case, he believed he could save/redeem Dent. Alas, Dent was too far gone. And after being shot in the gut (which presumably caused some degree of debilitation) Batmans options were limited.Batman’s main motive was to save Gordon’s son, not to kill Dent. Dent was collateral damage. It’s the “Trolley Problem.”![]()
Nolan's batman doesn't have any of those.
He had them in Rises.Nolan's batman doesn't have any of those.
Perfection.I read this in bales bat voice and LOL'd
He had them in Rises.
I don't remember those....the sad failure with Dent in TDK brought rise to the tranq darts in Rises...
Perfection.
How it should be done.
I don't remember those.
Could just be the photo is so awesome people needed to see it.
I'm hoping it's a vision, Batman killing makes me nervous.
When did he kill in The Dark Knight?
Or Batman & Robin?
Regardless of past incarnations, I prefer that Affleck's batman doesn't kill. It makes a nice contrast to supes if he doesn't and helps fuel their conflict.
Very rarely do I see a MrsKent post I disagree with Batman'89: Kills Joker, goons at Axis
