In my mind, I think what you would see in an invasion by Darkseid is the heroes and supervillains working together. Afterall, if they ( the villains ) let Darkseid take over, whats left for them to try and rule. He certainly wouldn't share power with them.

I think that's when you would see someone like Black Adam come in. Hes not really a hero, but he knows what would happen if he didn't help, same with Lex, I don't think he would stand by and watch either. Self preservation and all.
That may not happen on film, but its what would really happen if it were real.

I agree a 100%..I was just thinking that if Darkseid was attracted to earth by Doomsday, then you could basically blame superman yet again for another invasion.

I'm not really up that much on the anti-life equation, it sounds weird, math can kill life? Can someone get me up to speed on this? It seems like a hard sell in a movie.

Usually trailers get rated a week before they appear in cinemas. That means the new trailer will probably be attached to Deadpool and we'll see it online sometime between now and Friday. My guess is that they might play a spot with Doritos that will prompt people to go online to watch the full trailer.

In the DC comics, the Anti-Life Equation is a theory developed by Darkseid after he learned of the Martian concept of the "Life Equation" over 300 years ago.
Supposedly, the Anti-Life Equation mathematically proves that hope, love, and freedom are all meaningless and effectively destroys a person's free will.

I guess I enjoy the Sci Fi Pantheon aspect of the Satellite.

I always think of the League like this:

They are the World's first, best and last line of defense. A near pantheon of super heroic protectors that watch over this planet from a fortress in space. If you are on the side of the angels, you will find no greater friends or allies... And if you are not? Then may God help you, because there will be no one else on Earth that can. They are The JLA. The Justice League of America. The World's Greatest Super Heroes.

I just don't think it's convenient for most of the members. I just can't imagine Batman or Aquaman not raising their hands and not being like "Ugh, can we not set this operation up on Earth? Y'know, the planet most of us live on.... Seems like it's only convenient for you and Green Lantern, Superman. I'm a millionaire but I ain't got NASA money here...."

maybe one on earth, in space, and maybe in the sea.

The military has bases everywhere, why couldn't they.

I like to think that in the DC Earth the JLA is kind of THE union of Super Heroes. Ideally, I think it makes sense for ALL of it to be a go. Have the Watchtower in space but also have the Hall in Washington, D.C. and on each continent, a JLA embassy. Of course, such things are for a team with a long history, well established on the planet.
