 Although you're the third differing suggestion of the age of the ship/design. Another thing that I wanted to ask - I heard rumors that the crashed Kryptonian ship is Supergirl's ship. Do you agree? And if so, wouldn't that make her thousands of years older than Kal-El? I suppose that makes them not actual cousins.

Well yeah in the movie itself one of the scientists say that the ship has been there for over 20,000 years.

Why would Warner Bros. skip the Super Bowl AND Deadpool and release the trailer on GMA Monday the 15th?
I think 15th will be tickets going on sale tbh.

Because they sponsored the entirety of the NFL Playoffs, and had spots with each and every game.

They do not need a Super Bowl spot. They may have gotten as much (if not more) promotion from that than with just one single spot with the Super Bowl.

Supergirl was in the prequel comic.

He wasn't, but when it came time and he realized he had no way out, he stood on principle.

I understand that, and I respect him for holding Clark back at that point, seeing as there were a dozen onlookers at the time. I suppose it was a bad decision at the start - like I said, he should've sent Clark instead. That's my only complaint in any case. I respect how he was portrayed at the earlier part, even after he gently chided Clark for saving those children in the bus. I think he was a good influence on him, and actually wish there were/will be more flashbacks to Pa Kent especially when Clark's morally conflicted. Would be nice to see him as his silent moral compass, maybe even more than Ma Kent or Jor-El's cyber-image.

That GMA special sounds fun!

If there's a super bowl trailer tomorrow then it'd be announced by now wouldn't it?

The trailer isn't premiering on GMA. I refuse to believe that.
Trailer got certified last night - trailers don't get certified that far in advance.

GMA will most likely get a shortened version like this one

To me Johnathan Kent's death scene signifies a two things mainly:

1) This Superman exists in a world in which sometimes the best choice available is between two bad ones, and he is forced to make one imperfectly like we all do.

2) Jonathan's final lesson to his son is that self-discipline and self-sacrifice for an ideal (something greater than oneself) may require sacrificing one's own life.

Superbowl - Attention. Unless they can do something very amazing, a Superbowl spot (even trailer) is pretty useless, as it would have to compete with all the other Superbowl ads, including Deadpool (which has done an amazing done marketing itself).

For Deadpool - Maybe? But, even with all the marketing, I doubt the film's going to be that big (it will be a success, for sure...).

Which he could've avoided being within if he'd sent Clark to deal with the dog instead. It's been a while since I've seen MoS but I recall Clark offering to do that job. It was Pa Kent who told him to run to shelter with Ma Kent instead. It almost felt like Pa Kent was on a suicide mission.

Actually it's Ma Kents fault for locking the dog in the car in the first place.

That would be awesome. Hadn't thought of that, but it could be possible. I'd love to see it.

Quick question for all you Americans here, but is Good Morning America big? Like ratings wise?

Yes. Older audience, though. Which, come to think of it, are all familiar with Batman and Superman. Grew up with them, really.

Tickets for tnis movie are gonna go extinct like the dinosaurs the moment they go on sale. :funny:

GMA is one of the traditional morning shows, I think it's fair to say that its geared toward stay-at-home moms. I guess these days that includes stay-at-home dads as well, but if they're manly they're watching Fox News Network. :o

Or i can just ask here....

Thats great, its honestly amazing how many generations are fans of the concept of Superman and Batman.

Suppose that's why they're all so timeless. Everyone can relate somehow.
