Am I the only one on this planet who still doesn't have a clue who Dane Cook is?

you can't compare him to will farrell. two completely different kind of comedians. if you had said he'd be the next jim bruer, then maybe...

He's been around for years And he's got a stand-up special in Sept on HBO.

I think he's funny, and I like both Eddie Izzard and him... guess I just like a variety. I mean he's no seinfeld or eddie izzard or any of the other pros... but I still think he's funny.

and about him stealing... welcome to stand up comedy. adapting someone else's stuff or expanding on it is as common as Paris Hilton on her knees. everyone's done it and does it.

Heh, let's round up every comedian that's ever done a bit that went along the lines of "White people do this and Black people do that". It's one of my most despised routines but very common. Hardly stealing nonetheless.
