I wouldn't mind getting an essential spider-man (essential is what they call their collections) if I could find one that included the Punisher one in it. I like Spidey as a character, I just never found his comics all that well done. Older ones feel dated, and newer ones just don't seem that good.
I could make an exception for the Punisher though.
New York doesn't need to be New York. 2004's Dawn of the Dead is midland America. No, wait, it's Ontario. TV's Smallville is rural Kansas. I mean, Langley, BC. Seinfeld is Manhattan. Although most of the time it's California.
Punisher War Zone is New York City. And Toronto. You're probably very right about Travolta though.

Apparently there a lot more freedom shooting in Florida and it was cheaper. As for Travolta, that was probably the studio and Marvel wanting to get a big name for the movie.
