Quills was the worst character ever. He had no point in the movie, and it wouldn't have made a difference if he just wasn't in it at all. It would have helped the overcrowded situation. Psylocke was terrible as well, only because she was so underused, and then died pathetically thus eliminating any chance she has at further development.

exactly, its like his power was worth something if he got close enough to hug you and BAM! your dead. LAME LAME LAME! the deadly hug giver. Arclight was okay for a bit, except the fact that it was the ugliest woman/man i have ever seen, shim looked like the kid from Indiana Jones and the last crusade.

It's absolutely there t obe gotten. It's clearly the writer's intent. Or those particular kinds of scenes would not have been included.

Actually, I can somewhat agree with you on this one Guard. The Professor can be a downright bastard. He has had similar emotional moments in the comics, but I felt this aspect of his personality was rushed. It's too much of a sudden jump. They don't really seem to ease into it, and half the time it's misdirected at Wolverine . . . nor is the Professor really given any time to come down from being a jackass because he's suddenly dead (and generally when he gets angry, he has the character to come down off his high horse and be reasonable, whereas here, he's pretty much dies leaving the impression that he's deceitful and manipulative).

They easied into it. Watch the infirmary scene again. He's clearly stressed when it opens, and as Wolverine pushes him, Xavier slowly "turns" a bit. It's an aspect of his personality that was always there. It was just never explored. Like Storm having a personality.

He calms down after his altercation with Logan. Granted, he's stern with Magneto, but when he's talking to Jean, he's back to his old self for a while before he becomes intense with her. And there are good reasons for this intensity.

professor x reads minds so i am sure he knows about wolverines wrong doings.. so why would he explain himself to wolverine???

My friends thought Angel was hilarious (in a bad way). And I had to agree somewhat. The scene where he turns and runs like that out the window is pretty goddamn silly.

Storm, because she was way ahead of herself. Attitude does not equal leadership qualities. You mean to tell me the best she could contribute to the greater cause is catfighting with Callisto? Weak.

And, Professor X, because he was far too submissive and lacked any type of leadership qualities put forth in the first film. Is it just me, or did almost every character cut off/run over/disregard his motives and opinions during the film? Lame.

Bryan Singer directed the FIRST TWO movies. They did not have 3 directors.

It was a bad character, and there was no need for him to be all over the film...he had more lines than most of the X-Men combined.

Yes, Xavier was out of character. Why? Because he never displayed the slightest hint of the qualities he showed in this film in either of the previous two. They just tossed the whole "Xavier is a manipulative *******" quality in with no warning at all.

Wow, what up with all the Quill not Quills hate? I like him, the scene with him and Rao was great. I believe he can shot his quills out, but it was nice they used his "hug of death". lol.

I wished they would have used psylocke better, she just pops up out of a wall...wtf? Arclight, I still find it hard to believe s/he's a model...

I agree with everyone about the President, hes way too old, and annoying. I didn't like Rao and her creepy voice.

The worst character by far was "Phoenix". Or I should call her PINO.

Ratner's "Phoenix" was Famke standing around and scowling like it was that time on the month for the entire film! And then a pointless SFX display tacked onto the end of the climax that made no sense whatsoever.

After seeing the movie a second time I hate the President even more. His acting was terrible, his delivery was horrendous and his lines were just beyond the pale horrible...in 2006 what crapfest of a script has lines like that??? And as I mentioned before...the president was on screen more and had more lines than almost all of the X-characters combined.

Xavier was out of character, unless youve read the last year of comics (which I did not, but I read ABOUT them).

I dont think Magneto would have left Mystique behind, he would have used her as an example...but overall you really cant question McKellen, he was awesome in all three.

Angel was poorly done, even with the very little they gave him to do...

Im fine with everyone else, I think.
