Animals Go To Heaven?

Yes, animals go to Heaven. So the good news is that your favorite pet will be waiting for you. The bad news is that so will every carnivorous dinosaur from the Mesozoic era.
Since you'd already be dead anyway, it might make for some fun stuff.
It'll be like Jurassic Park, you just won't have to flee from the Dinos.

Anyone see that old twilight zone where the guy and dog die and heaven won't let the dog in so he doesn't go? That was cool.

Here's the thing, all.

Koko the gorilla can communicate with sign language, and Koko the gorilla routinely lies to the keepers to avoid getting into trouble.
For instance, they'll ask "Did you eat my apple?" and Koko will sign, "NO! the kitten ate it!"
And they'll sign, "The kitten dids not eat the apple. You did, didn'tyou?"
And after a while Koko will go , "Yes, I ate it. I'm sorry." and hug the keeper.

That means, while we can't tell with all animals, we at least know that gorillas can sin. If a gorilla tells a lie then it's in defiance of God's law, so it can't go to Heaven unless:

  • God holds sinful animals to a different, unspoken standard than the standard to which he holds humans

  • A gorilla Messiah comes and is sacrificed for the sins of gorillas...a "Jesus Gorilla" if you will

  • Jesus' sacrifice applies to gorillas and the gorilla can hear the Gospel and accept Jesus as his personal Lord and Saviour and "go forth and sin no more"

In the third case, when he Bible admonishes us to spread the Gospel throughout the entire world, it would mean that missionaries should be reaching out at least to gorillas and dolphins.

If they let animals in then they would have to let insects in and I really don't care for bugs.

And plans his murder.

I believe that God holds humanity up to a higher standard than the other species due to the favor he's shown us.

So you think Koko gets into Heaven despite all the lying, or Koko behaves like a human but has no soul, or what?

I asked the same question when I was catholic and I heard animals don't go to heaven.

Animals aren't the ones that are destroying the planet...

Animals have souls but they are not eternal.

I don't know if this is true or not, I just read it online.
