Anime Expo

Just curious to see if there was anyone here who is going to attend the Anime Expo that happens in LA in July.

Oh nice, last year was my first time. This year I'm going to be working there in registration. Get to see all the cosplayers ad they come in.

I predict there will be dorky cosplay present.

Oh hell yeah, without a doubt. And lots and lots of hot Asian girls.

I've changed my costume choice - decided I'm going to be epic and go as Dream/Sandman/Morpheus/etc. (unfortunately, I can't possibly afford to train a raven to be Matthew )

I bumped this old thread so I didn't have to make a duplicate one.

So anyway I have already gone to many comic conventions before but this was my first year going to the Anime Expo in LA and since it's right where I live I figured to check it out.

Most of the anime present was fairly newer stuff of which I'm not into like Inuyasha, One Piece and whatever crap is airing on Toonami, me I grew up on old school anime like Robotech, Mazinger Z and Voltron of which I hardly found any merchandise for which was weird.

I also saw many cosplayers dressed in rather cool costumes that with this heat they must've been sweating like crazy.

One thing I always detest at conventions is the over priced food and the place smelling like BO and farts.

But what the hell it was a fun time.
