Anime Series Recommendations?

Sounds kinda like Tenchi

except Tenchi has spaceships and demons and explosions and ****. So watch Tenchi instead
 
Well ive ordered Neon Genesis Evangelion off ebay, should hopefully get here soon.
 
If you like mysteries Detective conan is good. Just steer clear of the episodes with the kids solving their ******ed mysteries :x

Trust me I would buy the proper boxsets if the UK werent so pathetic at having them released, I dont like having pirated dvds in my collection.

Tenchi's good.

Difference is, the main character in Love Hina is a huge loser and a bit of a whiny brat. He's also a perv. The women are also constantly beating him up. In Tenchi they are just trying to get in his pants.

Interesting. I saw the manga for it a while back, so I'll probably be able to see it that way (haven't seen squat for an anime).

It's true, though. I have honestly never seen any guys that have said that they liked Inuyasha.
