Annihilation Conquest

I had an Amber Bock instead, which was fine, but it wasn't my damn Boston Lager.

I actually thought I had one bottle left from one of those Sam Adams assorted tester packs or whatever, but it wasn't there when I checked my fridge just now. I guess I drank it already and didn't realize.

Well, Ultron's standing face-to-face with some of the major heroes in it at the beginning of the next issue. If DnA can't make that interesting, my faith in them will be quite shaken.

I hope Conquest picks up soon.....

I haven't minded the pace so far. It isn't as jacked up as Giffen's first go, but, DnA aren't Giffen, Mr. Creator of Lobo of all things. I will say it was ballsey all but negating Nova from the core event considering he was the big hero last time around. Whether or not that bares fruit will be seen.

I have faith in it. I've enjoyed it so far, and it always has the benefit of being better than the "mainstream" Marvel event. An Annihilation sequal of B quality is about an A- when matched against stuff like WWH or OMD. :p

Looks like its Moondragon (pulling off a Jedi style death) and Gabe Vargas getting the axe. And Ronan pulls a major fast one on Ravenous. Great issue.

It seems such a waste for anyone on Star-Lord's "suicide squad" to have survived the mini-series only to be killed off in AC itself. :(

AC IS where all the action is. Besides, weren't you and PJ takin odds on Gabe getting killed off eventually?

I don't believe in Spoiler tagging. These days you find out things you never want to know in strange ways anyhow. And Snape killed Dumbledore...or so I'm told.

The Wendell vs Phyla war is almost as much fun as the Kyle / Hal war. Not as well known, but getting pretty bad. or, good.

And Moonie had a fetish for both...sounds like Three's Company all over again. :oldrazz:

Aw, balls, I thought this was all just speculation. I forgot comics come out today. :(

I'm not sure if I like them coming out on Fridays or not. On the one hand, I can take my time with them and not worry about going to bed to wake up for work the next day. On the other, it takes away my Wednesday, which is something I need to get me through the week. :(

I know the feeling. A good read gets you going for the week but a nice leisurely read throughout the weekend is nice too. Sigh...I'm gonna miss this. Enlisting soon.

Wow, good luck with that. Maybe there are shops that deliver to the Middle East...

No. They've never had to, anyway. I'm at the shop on Wednesday like clockwork every week. It's just the wonky mailing schedule that screwed me up this week.

I dunno, its these simple touches that makes your local comic book store...your local comic book store. Mine has the decency and intiative to call (during my lunch period) all its regulars to inform them about delays, saving me the trip to look at last week's back issues.

Corp, whatever gave you the impression that I'm from the States? Or any country thats currently engaged in Iraq?
