Annihilation Conquest

Moon Dragon dying seems kind of lame (even though something tells me she'll be back) but on the plus side is spares us from having to read poorly written trashy lesbo romance. Granted that stuff seemed contained to her mini, thankfully.

I find it hard to swallow Moondragon's death because she manifested into some child of the Dragon of the Moon. The idea that she became a dragon was kind of lame. It also makes Phylla and Heather into a ying/yang couple of light & dark.

My idea for Annihilation 3 is pretty much tied into Nova and Super Skrull. Kl'rt, while on the search for a new home for the Skrulls also stumbles upon a sort of crucible world between New Skrull space and Kree Space. Remembering Nova's action during the Annihilation War, Kl'rt gifts the Last Nova with the world which Richard christens Xandar III and seeks to rebuild the Nova Corps as a peace-keeping force between the remenants of the two great empires. Ronan and even Ravenous (for insidious) recognises Xandar III's autonomy and the Nova Corps Pan-Galactic juristriction (sp?). However, Vulcan, realising that the opportunity to wipe out every major player in the Universe making him the Sole galactic Superpower has arised. At first he tries to appeal to Richard's humanity and Earthbound roots, arguing that the Shi'ar Empire is the only Government capable of pulling the Universe out of its current Dark Age. Of course, Rich flips him off and starts a fight with the self-styled "God of Fire" and wins (think Ravenous VS Surfer) and warns Vulcan that Kree-Skrull space is under the protection of the New Xandarian Nova Corps. Of course, rulers scorned only lust for vengeance and Vulcan gears the Shi'ar Empire (the only force in the Universe with a standing Galactic Navy) for war.

I envision Firelord, an ex-Nova and fiercely loyal son of Xandar would come to Nova's aid, setting things up for a Firelord-Vulcan fight. Gladiator V Nova or Gladiator V Super-Skrull would heat things up.

That does sound cool. The only problem I forsee is the inevitable roadblock of making Vulcan seem cool.

You know, Vulcan and Emo Boy Prime are very similar characters when you think about it.

Note: His real name is Superboy Prime, but DC can't use that name because of a lawsuit with the family of the creator of Superboy.

He's a character that absolutley no one demanded, and yet they've tried deserately to shove him down our throats.

Well there didn't have to be any "demand" for him. Brubaker probably thought he was doing something cool with the X-mythos.

The Bru is never wrong! :cmad:

The Summers family needed to be even more convoluted.

I never liked Corsair. Mother****er was a deadbeat dad. I do, however, like the relationship between Warpath and Hepzibah. It's cute.

Every superhero is a deadbeat dad. It's one of the perks of the job--having legitimate excuses to stay away from your snot-nosed brats.
