Having seen that Ant-Man and the Wasp isn't until after the first IW film, they do have some time to address his status.
Yes they do but at the same time they better come up with something good considering [BLACKOUT]he is in Ross' custody more or less but also I wonder how then will Hope and Hank fit in then in terms of trying to get him out[/BLACKOUT]
I was under the impression Steve was busting them all out, not just Falcon at the end of CW. And once Lang is free, I would imagine Hank has enough resources and cunning to keep Lang safe. Not to mention Lang's criminal connections. Part of the movie might focus on them being on the run.
Yea, I thought that was a nice way of touching on the Secret Avengers plotline from the CW comic where they went underground and continued fighting crime.
I'm starting to think that given the release date of this film, it's extremely likely that it's going to be an ensemble film that directly leads into infinity war. Perhaps a Secret Avengers film showing Cap, Wanda and Sam helping Scott and Hope fight a villain. Would help show what they've all been doing
Secret Avengers didnt follow CW. It was New Avengers that went underground as that team was fugitives after CW. Secret Avengers didnt come until much later. It was spun out of the events of SIEGE
By the time we see AM again it will be after IW1, at which point I very much doubt his "fugitive" status will matter a bit.
In fact, I think you can just toss the whole Sokovia Accords business in the trash, other than on Agents of Shield (but I repeat myself). Of the next five films, the only one where they might be of any application is SM:H. They were a plot device in Civil War and I doubt they'll play much of a role going forward.
Yeah I do wonder what effect being a fugitive again will have on his life and especially his relationship with Casey.
Scott's daughter is called Cassie.
I'm sure any avengers fugitive status will be resolved in infinity war part one. Is the world really going to not pardon these heroes and ask for their help when thanos shows up? I think they will.
Scott shrunk down and sneaked into his daughters room to see her in the ant-man deleted scenes. Scott could do that again.
Yes he could but then wouldn't his daughter's mother and her cop husband be aware of what Scott is doing or what he has already done? Because I am sure they all watch the news...it wouldn't exactly be a secret the things that Scott got involved in especially the events surrounding Civil War so I am sure Scott's ex and her husband they would probably figure out that Scott visits Cassie
