Having seen that Ant-Man and the Wasp isn't until after the first IW film, they do have some time to address his status.

Yes they do but at the same time they better come up with something good considering [BLACKOUT]he is in Ross' custody more or less but also I wonder how then will Hope and Hank fit in then in terms of trying to get him out[/BLACKOUT]

I'm just hoping his appearance in CW has made more people aware of just how cool he is. Ant-Mans box office numbers were good all things considered but hopefully the sequel will be better and bring in more people.

I was under the impression Steve was busting them all out, not just Falcon at the end of CW. And once Lang is free, I would imagine Hank has enough resources and cunning to keep Lang safe. Not to mention Lang's criminal connections. Part of the movie might focus on them being on the run.

I think the characters status will be resolved by the time Ant-Man & Wasp comes out.

Ideological squabbles and regulations won't mean much when Thanos comes to Earth.

This.

Steve wasn't going to free Sam, but leave Clint, Scott and Wanda in the Raft. They all willingly lost the battle so Cap and Bucky could escape. Cap wouldn't take one and not the others...they're all his friends.

Yea, I thought that was a nice way of touching on the Secret Avengers plotline from the CW comic where they went underground and continued fighting crime.

Secret Avengers didnt follow CW. It was New Avengers that went underground as that team was fugitives after CW. Secret Avengers didnt come until much later. It was spun out of the events of SIEGE

Either way I can't wait to see Ant Man have his sequel...watched the 1st one in theatres and I loved it!!! Here is hoping that the sequel is just as funny if not funnier

I'm starting to think that given the release date of this film, it's extremely likely that it's going to be an ensemble film that directly leads into infinity war. Perhaps a Secret Avengers film showing Cap, Wanda and Sam helping Scott and Hope fight a villain. Would help show what they've all been doing

Considering the movie comes after Avengers IW:Pt 1, I doubt that. Even if that were the case, I dont think they'd name it Ant-Man and Wasp

my hope is that there is a giant villain in this one.

My mistake, I guess correct that to New Avengers then. I seem to remember Cap's team going underground during CW and conducting business as usual. However, that was 9 friggin' years ago when I read all of those, which is a staggering amount of time I'm still coming to grips with. I was a groomsman last weekend for my buddy who started dating his wife right in the middle of CW's comic release. He collected every single issue and tie-in.

But with Ant Man, Scott if he is a fugitive then what will happen to his relationship with his daughter? I mean we saw Scott's daughter in his solo origin film

Yeah I do wonder what effect being a fugitive again will have on his life and especially his relationship with Cassie

By the time we see AM again it will be after IW1, at which point I very much doubt his "fugitive" status will matter a bit.

In fact, I think you can just toss the whole Sokovia Accords business in the trash, other than on Agents of Shield (but I repeat myself ;) ). Of the next five films, the only one where they might be of any application is SM:H. They were a plot device in Civil War and I doubt they'll play much of a role going forward.

Ah yes I am sure it will be addressed in Avengers, sorry I thought Ant Man 2 was out before that so that's why I was curious.

Exactly because the mother of Scott's daughter was in essence keeping him from his daughter well her and her husband Casey's step-father were but after the events of Civil War it begs the question of what happens now with Scott and his daughter Casey

Scott's daughter is called Cassie.

I'm sure any avengers fugitive status will be resolved in infinity war part one. Is the world really going to not pardon these heroes and ask for their help when thanos shows up? I think they will.

Yes my bad his daughter's name is Cassie but then afterwards I mean his daughter knows that he is Ant-Man and I am sure his daughter she watches the news so I wouldn't be surprised if his daughter has learned by now that her father Scott/Ant-Man was or is a fugitive

Scott shrunk down and sneaked into his daughters room to see her in the ant-man deleted scenes. Scott could do that again.

Yes he could but then wouldn't his daughter's mother and her cop husband be aware of what Scott is doing or what he has already done? Because I am sure they all watch the news...it wouldn't exactly be a secret the things that Scott got involved in especially the events surrounding Civil War so I am sure Scott's ex and her husband they would probably figure out that Scott visits Cassie

Auto correct screwed on the daughter name there, don't know where Casey came from!

It wasn't a deleted scene it was in the movie, he sees her sleeping. I loved the first movie, can't wait to see what they do in the sequel.

I'm not sure if Paxton and Maggie would turn Scott in. We don't know how they feel about what happened in Civil War. They seemed on good terms by the end of Ant-Man so they might look the other way if Scott came calling.

With the way the movie ended I feel Tony might require the others to register so that he could protect Team Cap members.
