Is there any official behind the scenes footage with Ledger rehearsing or filming or something?

I'm interested in seeing what that was like, but everything I find is from the other cast members.

Official material - hasn't been any popping up to date unfortunately, as far as I know.
The only behind the scenes footage at all that I have seen are some snatched shots of Ledger standing on the pavement preparing for the bank heist, and of Ledger skateboarding during the shooting of the truck chase scene. Neither of which are official.
I live in hope that they're holding something back for some extra-super-duper-special-release-extravaganza, but that hope is not high, unfortunately!

what sucks is that behind the scenes footage of Ledger DEFINITELY exists, they just aren't showing it. the Blu-Ray features give you the teeniest tiniest taste where it shows them filming the scene where he blows MCU up

You'll probably have to do some searching in places like YouTube, movie websites, etc.

THIS is something I took during filming in 2007. A local news station got similar - and better quality - footage.

Hopefully, if WB decides to release a new version of the DVD (following awards season), they'll add new behind-the-scene footage with Heath.

I read an intervew with Chris Nolan a while back, where he was commenting on the lack of Heath Ledger on the dvds, and basically he sai that Heath didn't to any behind the scenes interview or even hve a camera on set while he was the Joker, but if that means there isn't any? I don't know,

yeah, that is the only "official" extra in the DVD/Blu-Ray

I believe you're right femid, Heath did request it. And I agree with him. It would diminish the illusion of the character if we saw Heath talking like himself in the make-up. We would then just think of Heath in the cotume and not the Joker.

That guy laughing in the previous video doesn't entirely favor Heath? Did anyone confirm that it could've been a stunt double? (except for the skateboarding shot, that was probably Heath there, being that Nolan said Heath liked to skateboard around between filming!)

from what i read in the comments, the dude in the last shot was Heath's stunt double (kevin?), but yeah, that was definitely heath skating
