Jean is powerful, and Godlike and can kill all. That is a fact too.


But not right now, she can't fight no one or anything cause Marvel isn't going to bring her into the mainline. She doesn't have a storyline anymore. Face it!

Storm (Female) and Wolverine (Male) bring in the dollars in merchandise. Fact.

Jean doesn't have her own in demand Universal studios ride, and show. Nor does she have her own credit card face, nor does her merchadise sell out. Fact, fact, fact.

OMG they only put their names first so people will watch it because their more know. For the love of god the movie isnt even about them and they stillput them in the damn cover. It doesnt meananything. They just stand there most of the movie (storm) so i think its stupuid why their names go on the cover and you have to admit, its stup[id for her anem to go in the cover when she just stands there, i understand wolverines and rouge for x1 but storm nope. And yea storm won that but thats because the stupid writers dont know how to handle jean. Do you know how easy it is for jean to take storm out. Jeans telekenisis is alot faster then storms powers. All she has to do is smash her against a wall and she would be out cold. She isnt like wolverine so she wont get up right away. In x2 jean levetated 2 guys like 3 inches of the floor and tapped them against the wall andthey were out cold so what makes you think it won take storm out cold. And they were guys. So you have to admit its really easy for jean to take storm out its just that they made her look stupid for a good part in the comics and cartoons and everywere else.

When paired with the Phoenix, Jean is more powerful than all the X-Men, not just Storm. So what relevance does that have here? It doesn't negate Storm's quality of character, nor her appeal. It also doesn't change the fact that sans Phoenix, Jean was always noted as the weakest of the X-Men while Storm was on the team.

It's interesting that all you're resorting to debating with is the kind of physical violence Phoenix could inflict on Storm. But my question is...who cares? Isn't there more to Jean than that?

I can think of many endearing qualities that make Jean a great character--without her powers. Yet apparently that is not so important to your argument here. Why?

I dont buy it that Jean is your favorite character, just look at your name it says risingstorm. If jean was your favorite character i think your name would relate to it like everyone else here. everyones favorite character here has something to do withyour name and its obvious Jean isnt your favorite character but storm. About Jean dying yea she did die but it was for some damn good reasons. She was the one who sacraficed her for the x-men every time, last time i checked storm never did that. Maybe the reason storm never died was because she wasnt worth killing unlike jean. Storm was never involved in any mayor plot lines like jean, when apocalipse wanted to rule he needed her to do it without jean or any other telepath he woulnt have been able to do anything. And just some advise, if your going to cheer for storm atleast spell her name right. Halle not Halla. And since when can storm control the stars? Technically before Phoenix Powers, Storm's winds kicked the crap out of Jean's TK. Tk is a powerful element, but not more dangerous than SUB-SONIC winds.

So Phoenix kills all, but if Storm and plain o'le Jean duked it out (which will NEVER happen for all sorts of reasons), it would be a decent fight.

My odds are with Storm, but only after 12 grueling rounds.

Edit: and thats just barely...tk is tough to beat. And don't try and use telepathy on Storm either, the psychic can get a nasty backlash of electrical enegry back at them. Think of sticking a wet fork in a socket, but again it will never happen
