I don't think the issue is that you're big. It seems more like the problem is that you're clumsy.

Call it what you will. I'd much rather have the moniker of "guy with a wussy handshake" or "clumsy oaf" than "the defendant".

I hate the dead fish handshake. When someone is almost touching one side of my hand with their thumb and the other 4 fingers on the other side like they think you are sick or something.

I always squeeze the hand as hard as the person is doing it.
