Last I saw he was in the Atheist thread and responded to somebody then did another post of just scripture. I guess that was the limit for someone.

I stay out of the religious and politics threads so I miss these things. I'm not surprised it happened, just that someone wasn't banned for going into enemy lines sooner.

I usually stay out of them, but I ducked in the atheist thread now out of curiosity. Once you get into those religion threads, it's almost impossible to get out and still smell like roses.

Once, long ago I would venture into such threads. I quickly saw the concrete mindset most sides have, their inability to debate opinions and never looked back.

Occasionally I still fall into one of those debates when a thread goes into that territory but most of the time I try to stay away.

I think SentinelMind was just really pissed off that the Jesus Christ thread was closed.

And he took his anger out on the Atheism thread by posting scripture and unrelated topics about divorce, hoping to get it closed as well.

The Jesus Christ thread got closed down? Why the hell was it closed? Every time I went in there they were just talking scripture. It always seemed very nice to me.

I'm an atheist and I've pretty much never entered the Jesus Christ thread, but why couldn't the guy who made that comparison just get banned and his posts deleted? Other threads aren't locked because one guy is a *****e. Seems like an overreaction.

The politics forum, the religious threads, and the anti-religious threads are just black holes...I don't know why anyone is stupid enough to venture in those threads and post. I find it funny that these places exist on the a site about movies and superheroes...

Upon further investigation it seems that the Jesus Christ thread turned into a huge debate on the homosexuality/bestiality topic and spiraled into chaos. I can kind of understand C.Lee's decision now.

It's pretty easy to figure out who comes here just to preach (one way or the other). They end up getting banned pretty quickly.

Most times they'll give a few days cooling off period and then allow another thread to be started as long as everyone promises to not be asshats for awhile. Don't know if that's the case here tho

It's pretty easy to figure out who comes here just to preach (one way or the other). They end up getting banned pretty quickly.

Even then, those threads harbor a lot of hypesters with big egos...especially in the politics forum.

SHH always did weird me out for that. It's a forum with a confused identity and heaven knows how many cliques.

I just kinda try to adapt.

I never go into the religion or atheist threads because that's just asking for trouble. Sometimes it's the right thing to do to close threads for a while.

It's unfortunate that SentinelMind got a probationary ban. I'm no saint but I've been on here for 10 years so I must be doing something right.
