And those people seem to act like the wild animals of Africa, too.
I people watch too often. I can sit beside my window and stare, watch people on the bus and gaze whilst I'm sitting eating inside.

I just like to watch people and how they act. Sometimes, it ain't clever. They always seem to look back at me, and I get weird looks back.

Funny thing is, two women were half naked in the centre of my town a few months back. There's two men in a cow costume, and two naked women with only billboards to hide their naughties...what do I look at?

The men in the cow suit.

I have noticed that people are usually too busy doing there thing to notice me staring. Even the hot ones.

As far as looking at the man cows. I am pretty sure that means you are gay.:o

That's what a friend of mine says.
But I'm too attached to my lady to bother with any other woman's nakedness.

Can I take down the camera then? :csad:
It depends on the location of the camera. If you have it in your home, recording your every move, then you might want to send the tape to me. I'll keep it for you for safekeeping. Yeah, that's it. Thanks.

Good to know I'm not alone. And remember, it's not stalking it's just a natural side effects of chronic boredom. Lol.

Though, this would be a dream come true for anyone that had/has a "girl next door":

Other voyeur's in cinema/ television:
- Peter Parker (Spider-Man 1, Spider-Man 3)
- Clark Kent(Smallville)

Jw, did anyone have the cliched sense of a girl next door? I was waiting for MANY years before leaving home for college and never had one once.

i think everyone is a voyeur to some degree. humans are naturally curious, and we like watching things/people depending on what theyre doing.

^It's not called being "nosy", it's called being "inquisitive".

It worked for Obi-Wan, but he also had the Jedi Mind Trick

if you spy on people your not a voyuer . you're a creep

/\ so ur saying u NEVER, when you're bored, look out your window (if your in a city or apartment complex) to see if you can see what anyone around you is doing.

POINT: Not talking about extreme, talking about from time to time.:cwink:

I don't think anyone goes to the point that Kale did in Disturbia or Stuart did in Rear Window of memmorizing everyone's daily routines to memory. If you do, then that's trouble and would frankly disturb me.

But, looking out your window or while at a bus stop? That's human behavior, to be interested in what others are doing if and especially when you're bored to death. Why else do u think reality television has become a HUGE hit genre in recent years? What would you call Big Brother? Survivor? Etc.

Thus, NOTE: Talking about casual, from time to time.

i just think someone would be rather unfortunate to be watched unknowingly like that. whereas reality tv they know your watching. i can understand looking over for a couple seconds but going disturbia aint right.

Psh, Holly is nosy and will even admit it
I am defending her mainly because I am like that too. But my nosiness stops at looking into people's homes just to see what they're doing. If they're in public places, it's fair game.

Not talking going to the extreme which 'Disturbia' is, but hey the guy is under house arrest and cut off from the world so guess for him it's okay. Since I do think you would go naturally crazy under that kind of scenario.

Talking about generality- looking out your window, looking around at a bus station or coffee shop.

I'm not even a mild voyeur, my communications teacher gave us a homework assignment last year that ordered that we purposefully watch a certain person interact with another (listening in the conversation, writing down all of their movements, etc.). And I didn't feel comfortable in doing so even from a distance because that was their 'private' moment. I played a scene from Fantastic Four, Susan wants Reed to stop working and get out for some fresh air (just changed it to two students and the work is studying for an exam, the teacher was none the wiser)

So far me, I'm just talking about casual voyeurism such as once in a while looking out your window for a moment or at a bus stop, etc. :cwink:

I look out my window all the time, just to see if the world's ended yet.

If I look out my front windows I see THE MAPLE tree, a bit of my yard and a corner of a neighbours yard (with their two dogs in it).

If I look out my back windows I see our swimming pool, our awning, some of our deck, my son's sky fort, HEDGE, HEDGE, HEDGE, and the trees in the ravine behind our house.

My property is just a tad overgrown.

It I stand at just the right spots outside the house at one of the corners I can talk to either of my next door neighbours through a small gap in the Hedge.

On the bus and at coffee shops, if I'm alone, I read. If I'm with someone than we usually talk. If I'm with a "gal pal" we keep an eye out and point out the best "cheesecake" we see. ;)

Yeah, I never just look out of my window to see what people are doing. That's called being a "Rosy the Nosy Neighbor" :)

using some 'voyeur' to mask the fact that you just people watch. its called people watching, and its good times at night in the city.
