I wonder what the lounge is like during a new Game of Thrones season. :hmm

I still hope some of ya'll check out Zardoz.

Sean Connery's best role for me. lawd. If ya'll never want to smoke up, but are curious to know how it feels, go watch that film. Sean Connery in a red diaper and rocking a ponytail. His raw sexuality in that film is off the chain. Bond can't compete with him. People get a hint of his sweat and they immediately want to smash. lol

The director commentary is also fantastic. It starts off with the director telling you to skip the first ten minutes.

Johnny B. is an underrated cinema madman. Not everything he did worked but he was fearless. Plus... EXCALIBUR and DELIVERANCE. Nuff said.

Meh, they are exaggerating... The Adele crying yesterday was far worse.

Plus we keep it in the game of thrones area during the seasons :o

Rick and Morty is fantastic. The first episode is kinda meh, but keep watching. Totally worth it.
Well I guess it's a good thing I couldn't get the first two episodes to work and skipped them, haha. I've decided I like the show in small doses. It's very clever and imaginative, but after 3 eps I'm ready to get back to my other shows.

Oh, I forgot to mention that he wears a wedding dress at one point.

CC... did you just Picard palm yourslef? Is that... Is that even possible?

that joke was lame as all get out

i'm much funnier in real life, or occasionally on superheroskype

Yeah this. I shan't be given crap for quoting a great man like Stannis Baratheon, whose philosophy can be put to practice in real life (Serious, the moral of the character is do your damn job even if you hate it) when everyone cries over a chick who keeps getting dumped.

That new Adele song was awesome, she's got an awesome voice, top stuff.

To DarknessOfDeath...

Brendir - son of one of the twelve lore masters, is raised by the elf Queen when he's just a baby, was almost killed when his parents were destroyed by the enemy, when he grows older - he falls in love with Nimthriel's daughter, Artemis, after losing her and her father's trust, he embarks on a journey to destroy the dark lord.

I have to wonder how he lost their trust.

edit: It's pretty much answered later.

Gavin - Messenger of the Lore Masters but is in his own right one of the twelve, brother to Brendir's father who perished, father of Darien, keeps a watchful eye on the world itself and just as things began to unfold he witnesses the true nature of one of his own kind declaring himself the first Dark Lord, is close to Nimthriel, he is the one who decides things by making choices for those who cannot come to a simple agreement.
An important job for sure. He must be one of the busiest Lore Masters.
Damian - One of the twelve Lore Masters who had a thirst for war and bloodshed, which started him to stray away from the path that he was entrusted upon. He can shapeshift into a werewolf to spy on his enemies...

Awesome!

Artemis - Daughter of the high Queen and King of the elves of her kin, she grew up with Brendir and the two became good friends. As a lover of animals and being able to tame them, she is highly skilled in archery like her twin brother for she was a huntress. Eventually as she grew older, Artemis found herself falling for Brendir. Though their love was doomed from the start, when she travels to visit her grandmother's kin - she gets ambushed by the enemy, gets corrupted and becomes the dark lord's commander who is in charge of the fleet upon the seas, in the end - she does come back to the good side because of Brendir believed that she could due to his undying love for her.

Promising redemption story for her! I hope you plan to foreshadow her negative qualities well before the Dark Lord corrupts her. He should only bring out what's already there. :)

Have you ever played 'Knights of the Old Republic'?

Andreus - Son of the great high King and Queen of the elves and twin brother of Artemis, Andreus is a lover of music. While he is also skilled in archery like his sister, he too is a healer of medicine in which he is capable of mending others. He is good friends with Brendir, Even though he is just as close to his sister and his mother, his relationship to his father is often strained because of Thadeus favoritism of Artemis. One of the few who understands Brendir's ambition to save Artemis. Goes with Brendir on his journey.

He's the good-natured, trusty companion type!

Nimthriel - One of the greater Lore Masters of her kin and former wife of Thadeus, Nimthriel was one of the first beings to have ever walked the earth when it was young and flourishing. Also has the gift of foresight that even Thadeus does not have, When Brendir was a baby and was first brought by her into the realm of Twilight, this caused quite a rift between her and Thadeus. Though she has no place in accompanying Brendir on his journey’s end, little is known of how much her role will be as her sole enemy’s war continues to rage on.

She would get along well with Galadriel, 'eh? As long as Brendir and Artemis are the primary ones to solve the central conflict, I'd like to see Nimthriel play a part in the climax.

Thadeus – Father of Andreus and Artemis and former husband to Nimthriel, Thadeus was once a respected elf king during his reign within the realm of Twilight. A fierce fighter if called upon, he is most known for the unkindly words one might not want to hear even though it may bear some truth in them. He's a ...dick for banishing Brendir for losing his only daughter to the enemy, he's stubborn...

Sounds like a dick. Ugh.

Darien – Son of Gavin and cousin to Brendir, Darien is known to be one of the lesser Lore Masters who, with such luck on his side, was not among the others that were easily corrupted by the Necromancer. A late bloomer when he began to develop his skills, he is most notable for being quite the humorous kind soul that he is. He can be funny at times but serious if need be, depending on the circumstance he faces. A womanizer, sleeps around but in the end, he decides he doesn't want to be that guy and instead wants to find real love, He does find love in a woman who captures his heart, Even though he was willing to fight for her because she wasn’t from his land, Darien took her from the man who would one day be her husband. This sparked an outrage, which led to the Great War when much bloodshed had been spilled all because of two men fighting over the same woman. Goes with Brendir on his journey.

Intriguing. I wish I knew what affect the war had on his personality and humor.

Nerissa – Abandoned her role as Lore Master to become the seductress of love, Nerissa attempted to use all her power to seduce Brendir at a chance meeting. But he rejected her due to his heart belonging to someone else. And so she moved on to seducing Darien and when she almost succeeded, Brendir stopped her just in time. Having learned that both men were resilient to the power of her love, she turned towards the only one whom she thought would accept her for what she was willing to offer. After the events of the battle in the gulf of Infernal, Damian who had lost one of his most ruthless servants had learned that Brendir was indeed the son of one of the twelve. When Nerissa came forth to his domain, Damian took her in and in return, she pledged her allegiance to him, swearing an oath to rid the world of its weaknesses. With him being the master of War and her being the Mistress of love and death, these two make very deadly foes due to their likeness for causing havoc across the world.

That had to hurt, getting rejected twice in a row when you're supposed to be a seductress.

Nyndros – One of the twelve, Nyndros is the Lore Master of Water and keeps a watchful eye on the seas at bay. He allied himself with Brendir’s forces that were battling the enemy’s army as dawn was approaching. He helped them in their hour of need and once they summoned enough courage, Brendir, Nyndros, Darien and Andreus were able to hold the line as they pushed back the evil at hand. Later, he rejoined Brendir and his company at the last battle to end all battles.

Let me guess. He can cause some serious storms out at sea. That's a major advantage during a war!

Ferandral – The lore master of forging weapons such as swords and sceptres, which are both used notably by Lore Masters but swords are most commonly used by the race of men. Often, he would spend his free time creating weapons with the help of a black smith who would learn much of the elf’s craftsmanship. When it came at last to the point that Nimthriel and her father approached him with the broken sceptre that a former Lore Master once wielded, she asked Ferandral to re forge it. This, he accepted with honor and pride that he put everything he could to piece the sceptre back together in hope that it would return to its rightful owner. Yet, he knew very well who it was that he was re forging the sceptre for and because he knew, he longed dreamt this time would come when he would take it upon himself to do the Queen’s bidding. At the last battle, it was Ferandral who presented the newly re forged sceptre to Brendir and the young man gladly accepted the weapon before he departed towards the Dark Lord’s domain to confront him.

Neat. :)

Thank you for typing that all out. I enjoyed these profiles.

crying over who?

crying over who?

I'll cop to it... It's me. To be honest you're like, "Wow, I'm sleeping with Adele. Neat." That's at first. Then you realize that half her time each day is spent in hair and make up. Then comes the all the attempts on her part to break up with you just so that she can get some material. Eventually you just can't keep it going, ya know?

Apparently us showing admiration for a great singer who pours her heart out through song yesterday offended their manly sensibilities.

No, no, no, not at all. Adele has an amazing voice. Skyfall is great. It's just that her content feels so... whiny?

Not mines. :o

I just want to feed her chicken wings and beat up the brotha who hurt her. :oldrazz:

Johnny B. man... You crazy muthacusser.

Oh, That man was definitely on cocaine while filming.

Breh, listen to the director commentary. It becomes like a sequel of sorts. Do you own it? The goddamn bluray is like 50 dollars tho, but I went with the old dvd for 3 bucks. Heh.

Again, it's entirely possible I have no ****ing soul and I have no idea what the fuss is.

I wish I had a copy. It's been a LONG time since I have watched it. I think we used to get more directors that did both the off the beaten track as well as the weirdly experimental along side the crowd pleasers back in the day. The dude that did EXCALIBUR put Sean Connery in a wedding dress. Wrap your head around that.

Did you know that his own DAUGHTER played Arthur's mother in EXCALIBUR... That's right, the chick that does the crazy "Climax" dance and gets essentially raped on screen by Gabriel Byrne was the director's daughter. Madness.
