As it's the only good non-Cameron entry in the franchise, yes.
lol, TSCC sucked so hard. T3 >
Well I would disagree that others don't' get Terminator due to the fact we had two lackluster directors. That's hardly enough of a pool to say "no creative talent can do as well or out do Cameron" Honestly I would not want Cameron anywhere near this anymore because I don't think he would handle like he used to. He's not the same James Cameron I used to love.
I think there are tons of creatives out there that could touchdown it, but the hopes are they will get the right team together.
To clarify, I am not expecting anything special or good. Someone had the chance to make the war movie everyone wanted to see and decided to not take it because they had franchise on the brain. I don't trust anybody not named James Cameron to guide this franchise to a touchdown. Terminator Salvation was the last straw for me and made me realize that nobody but Cameron truly gets Terminator.
Remaking Terminator is ******ed but I'd perfer they do that and ruin their own series because Cameron's has been screwed with enough.
Eh, a 12 episode show on HBO or Showtime would have been something worthwhile but the constraints of network television harmed the show too much in my opinion. Granted I didn't watch nearly all of the episodes but that was the impression I got. It wasn't terrible but it could have been much better. That's how I'd sum up the last two films as well.
I love the Terminator world but I honestly don't see this new film turning out special. I'm probably going to see it for nostalgia reasons but I'm not expecting anything.
