I am....very conflicted on this.On the one hand, this was a solid finale that tied up pretty much everything. This really could have been the series finale. Everyone is happy and gets what they want and Oliver rides into the sunlight leaving the Arrow behind.

On the other hand...UGHHH this thing with Oliver and Felicity. I just can't. As much as they shove this down our throats I keep regurgitating it. "I said I can't be the Arrow and be with you. Well...I want to be with you." Good grief that was bad. There's just no use fighting it anymore though, this is the direction the writers are taking it and theres nothing we can do about it.

Oh well, at least we got a great duel between Oliver and R'as Al Ghul. Thea looks GREAT in the Red Arrow costume. Oliver and Diggle making amends made me happy. Overall, I'm interested to see how the direction this show takes next.

I want to know, did the police squad pick up Ra's body after the battle? Is he just lying there still? Some LOA personnel pick him up? He crawl away?

I agree that was underwhelming. Couldn't they have gotten anyone else to save Oliver? The Oliver and Ray endings make no sense. [blackout] Since we know they both appear at the end of the season finale of Flash. [/blackout]

Probably time travel fixes that.

Started off well, got squishy in the middle, then finished strong. Didn't see many of the twists coming.

I didn't like the episode overall there were a couple things that didn't click with me The final battle between Ra's and Oliver was weak. The actual cure that Ray came up with was never shown. But Malcolm ascending to the title of Ra's is only good for one thing, bringing Ra's back. In some glorious fashion where he crushes Malcolm under his boot. Then and only then writers will this be forgivem.

Though I did like Oliver kind of passing the torch to the new, improved Team Canary lol jk. TA.

But I really wanted Laurel to leave Starling for the summer and get some hard core training.

I was disappointed there wasn't more of Laurel. She had like 5 lines.

[blackout]"Search for Ray Palmer"[/blackout], anyone?

Are [blackout]Laurel/Black Canary and Thea/Speedy (and maybe Diggle) the only members of Team Arrow left now? Nyssa returned to the LoA, Malcolm is now Ra's al-Ghul, Diggle may have left, Oliver and Felicity left for Olicity, and Ray is believed dead, but probably just shrunk.[/blackout] And we all know that Roy left.

Also, does yesterday's Flash take place before last week's Arrow? Because otherwise, that means that [blackout]Oliver left Team Arrow to possibly die in the dungeons by going to help Barry defeat Thawne[/blackout], and Ra's just let that happen.

This episode of Arrow takes place after yesterday's Flash.

Starling must be able to see Nanda Parbat from their balcony's because my god, it literately took everyone to make it back to Starling like 5 minutes, despite Ra's being a head of them.

Everyone has the power of super convenience on these shows.

Oh. They obviously [BLACKOUT]killed Ra's[/BLACKOUT]. Sigh.

Well,now.....

I just.....

Seriously, I think they had to put marc guggenheim on after the credits just to assure people "Yeah, this wasn't a series final. We'll be back next year."

Barring some kinda Dallas-esq Flash time-reversal next week that renders this whole season null, I really don't see how they can possibly move on from here.

Nice of Flash to show up and help out--for like the 13 seconds that he did. Frankly it makes more sense that he's too busy to help at all that to have him show up and say "Look, I know ****'s goin' down, but I've got my own problems. Bye!"

As I said above Ollie's grand plan to play along for months seemed to have a pretty underwhelming result if all he was going to do was crash the plane and kill everyone. Seemed there was SOME better plan to be had.

This episode was kinda all over the place. Parts were fun, others strange.

Felicity taking on the Atom suit was a bit out there. Yeah, she's a genius and all, but couldn't she do what Ray was doing, freeing him up to use the suit?A better option than taking a crash course in trying to learn how to learn to use his suit herself.

They really did their best to crap on Ray right up to the end. Did he effectively blow himself up?

I figured on Ra's dying. The miserable ******* wouldn't go out any other way. I really enjoyed their final fight. Having Ollie recite his usual prayer for the departed slain was a nice touch.

So Ollie and Malcolm were in cahoots a bit more than we were led to believe. I'm glad they didn't part as buddies. So Malcolm is the new Ra's? I guess it'll keep him out of Starling at least?

I can't honestly see Nyssa serving under Malcolm. I actually was hoping for her to have a warrior's death earlier in the episode. I like the character, but she's honestly served her purpose. To just drag her story out is to cheapen her, which is what I think is bound to happen with her under Malcolm.

Liked seeing Speedy. I thought they'd pretty much save her for next year. She got that outfit together in a hurry! Red Arrow? Before Green?

Everyone mentioning a disguise for Digg on the show now! It finally has to happen!

Katana was wasted here. Is that her deal in the comics? "I vont to be alone" I thought she'd have a more proactive part in the Nanda Parbat rescue.

The flashbacks: Eh,the stuff between Masau & Tatsu was pretty much as expected. That was fine. Ollie torturing Marc Singer to death was kinda much. I knew the Waller training would come around in the finale. I also predicted Ollie would return to the island voluntarily. And while we don't know where he's going, it ain't home. What is Ollie gonna do with Ukio's ashes? The guy lives hand to mouth!

"It must be May!" :woot: Lance got a bit more likable here at the end. Not the complete redemption I was hoping for, but at least it's something to build on.

I guess that about wraps this bad boy up for another season. Season 3 had it's highs and lows. I really truly hope they manage to right the ship next season so that there will be a better highs to lows ratio.

The Ra's Al Ghul storyline is probably the most disappointing thing I've ever seen in television. I was expecting much, much, MUCH more.

EDIT: I'm talking about expectations; I'm not in love with season 3 (worst season of Arrow, imo) but it wasn't that terrible. But they kinda screwed up big when it came to Ra's (not Nable's fault, though).

So it was a series finale right? all wrapped up? and season 4 is like a reboot?

My take, It was an excellent episode. Period.
I am hugely interested to see what happens next.

Me and my brother were like, "that's how they're going to end it?" Really did feel more like a series finale rather than a season... Just confusing and underwhelming.

Kinda excited to (hopefully) see Diggle's suit though, haha.

P.S. BRING DEATHSTROKE BACK

I was thinking about that is the Legends of DC show - perhaps they are gonna run with that for a bit - then bring arrow back, say second half because I think part of the problem was they had too many episodes this season.

So he left the city again, in the capable hands of Team Arrow? Minus Felicity this time?
Yea....

Too many weak things about this ep for me to personally enjoy it. Starting with this Flash nonsense. It's a pandora's box and now that it's opened, it's stupid imo.
I'm trying to figure out when Oliver even went over there(arrow time).

I also know that the L-pit exists in this show so Ra's death means little to me, save for this cool bit about Malcom for the time being.

This episode of Arrow takes place after yesterday's Flash.
Yeah, I got that, but when did Oliver have time to [blackout]leave his friends in Nanda Parbat to go help Barry fight an evil future genius speedster[/blackout]?

Felicity in the Atom suit saving Oliver was one of the most awful and cringe worthy things ever. I think I gave myself a concussion I face palmed so hard.
