So, I was just pondering something. Does anyone think that Isabel might turn out to be this show's version of Ravager? Maybe even Rose Wilson herself using an alias?

It makes too much sense for the writers to make her Ravager. Which is probably why they won't give her the Ravager moniker. My gut tells me Isabel's last scene of the season is in the board room with Oliver.

And there is absolutely no way she is Rose Wilson.

I totally forgot about Isabel's existence.

I did entertain the thought. Will be interesting to see how it plays out.

I hope not two different characters..

I'm not surprised. I don't think they've done a fantastic job of juggling all of their storylines this year. I'm hoping next year will have a tighter narrative.

Yeah, and now we have footage of her supposedly fighting Ollie. Feels kinda random within the context of the show since we've barely gotten to see her outside of "You need to run this company correctly, Mr. Queen!" and it feels like it was a long time ago.

Agreed. I don't care about the character at all, so her "betrayal" means nothing to me.

I'm staying away from spoilers, so I'm afraid I can't read that. :woot:

Oh, that. I dunno. I don't read comics, so I have no idea how that happened.

that cool it happen in 1970..

What some people overlook: Green Arrow is old, really old. First published in 1941. In the early years, he was pretty much a Batman rip off, a billionaire playboy (but stranded on a deserted island, forced to learn how to use bow and arrows to survive) with a secret identity as vigilante, including a boy sidekick, the Arrowcave and the Arrowcar. No kidding.
Only much later, in 1969, Dennis O'Neil and Neal Adams took all his money and most of his toys, gave him the characteristic beard, a new costume and the leftist outlook. I always assumed that they were inspired by going as far on the way to making him Robin Hood-like as possible. (Even if it was Mike Grell who introduced Ms. Lance's flower shop "Sherwood Florist".)

So I assume that the nods to Batman are put there by writers to know their history. TV-Ollie is in some kinds closer to early "Batman with a bow"-Golden Age GA, but seen through the modernish, dark lens. I suspect they will move him closer to O'Neil-Adams GA over time.

I can't imagine that
Moira will survive much longer if Oliver is to lose his fortune, unless she cuts him off completely.

Other that all that, I think the writers have been juggling the storylines pretty damn well so far. It's better to have too many threads than to be lacking storylines, because then you end up having a boring show, and they have to reach for plots that aren't there. Right now, the show can kind of "write itself" week-to-week because there is so much to choose from, it's great. I LOVE that we have Merlyn AND Deathstroke AND Brother Blood to worry about. It just means that Oliver's work is far from over.

Believe me, when a show starts running out of ideas, you get stuff like an X-Files and COPS crossover called "X-Cops". Yikes.

Anybody else think that the summary from The Man Under The Hood implies this episode will have some kind of cliffhanger ending?

Now the question becomes:

Is Slade just trying to inject more guys with Mirakuru, or does he have some other motive for suddenly recruiting such a large number of criminals to his banner in such a brazen manner?

Because if its the latter, I'm still calling a Blood-rebellion against Slade, in which case, the above gentlemen are simply Slade's new henchmen for the confrontation he knows is coming. I could see that clip being the end of this episode, after Blood rebels, and this sets the stage for his return after the next hiatus, unless this episode is a cliffhanger.

I do love the way Slade still clearly embraces the "kill some guys, make the dangerous people they're in charge of work for you now" philosophy of leadership. He really is a pirate.

Caity... don't you too play with my frail heart. :(

Really liked this episode.

Was Isabel's sins of the father line supposed to mean something to us?

Why did Thea say Oliver had been lying to her for years about Malcolm?
