I watched some 3 Stooges instead. One short was about a mad scientist trying to put Curly's brain into a gorilla. And that got me thinking, 'If Curly was alive he and a gorilla would do a better job writing Arrow than Guggenheim & Mericle.'

guggenheim is an idiot.

Laurel's last words are to pump up felicity. Does he think her words are going to have her fans "well our favorite character just got killed off but she is #TeamOlicity, so we are too"

I wasn't Laurel's biggest fan the first 2.5 seasons but I never came close to the hate for her as I have for Felicity now. Up until the stabbing this was what Arrow was suppose to be every week and the lack of felicity was a big reason for it. Because it forces to write for the other characters instead of having them take turns standing in the background so felicity can get half the scenes.

Well I hope DCEU BC fares better. The character deserves so much better than this.

You know, I never thought of it like that, but now that you mention it, this would not surprise me.

So Laurel dies for the power of Olicity.

You have failed, writers of Arrow. These last two seasons have been huge disappointments. And now, this? Really? Just...ugh. Please leave us at peace. Please go. Stop smiling. It's not a joke. Please leave. Your job's over. Get out.

For real. They may not be A-Listers, but Green Arrow and Black Canary are members of the Justice League God damn it.

Won't hold my breath on that one. But i'll just leave it at that.

Even though I enjoyed this episode it sucks that it took a death of a character for them to bring their A-game for every character minus the shipping at the end there.

The fact the creators are trying to console fans with the fact Black Siren will show up on the Flash feels a bit insulting.

This episode was actually not too bad until that ridiculous ending. Come on. I don't hate Felicity like some, but I can't help but think they did this to Laurel because of Olicity. Keeping Laurel around makes people think she and Oliver might eventually get back together. The writers had actually done a nice job of rescuing Laurel from the depths of Season 2, and they up and kill her! Lame.

Wonder if felicity is gonna be mad that Laurel didn't check with her before dying.

That's because they can't write. They use shock value as a way to shake up the status quo to keep people watching interested. Instead of doing what every good show out there does. Writing good stories and characters. This is a show with ninjas and magic and one episode of Better Call Saul has more suspense and good character drama than an entire season of whatever this garbage pretending to be Green Arrow is.

That was my thought too. Thought the cut was a little weird. But I'm not sure why she would ask to and that he would even do it for her.

I think she wanted out, she was planning on leaving anyways, I think she wanted to disappear for a while, she saw her chance and she took it.

Felicity: (To Laurel's Tombstone) Being friends with each other is all about trust but once again, you have left me out of the decision. The paparazi, the fans online, they knew that you were going to die before I did.

What's worse is that Laurel died for Diggle's and Oliver's mess

Diggle for his brother
Oliver for not putting a end to Malcolm

This would been more interesting if Diggle died because he trusted his brother and paid for it.

Can my fellow Laurel fans please not act like the "anti-Laurel" crowd by demeaning other characters just because the writers made an inexplicable decision that is hard to swallow?

i really started to like laurel and she was actually being developed so now they kill her lol

should of got rid of felcity she is extremely unlikable

Apparently when you start developing a character you suddenly have nowhere to go with them, at least according to MG.

Are any of characters going to address that if they didn't let Malcom just roam the streets this wouldn't be happening. As bad as the pandering to shippers has been, the Malcom problem is some of the worst writing I've ever seen. Did I miss something, didn't Vixen smash the idol? Why would they put it back together, and not keep the pieces as far from one another as possible. It's not like they don't have the resources to do it.

You guys forget that these type of shows no one stays dead there always a way to bring a character back with that said this was indeed one there best episode of the seasons

"But at the end of the day, we have to tell the story we’re telling, and we did it in spite of what we imagine will be a rather loud response from a very vocal minority."

Wow, that's...rude as ****.

Yeah no ****. Instead of being vocal about it, the people he pissed off will just not watch the show and the ratings will suffer. I'm going to lurk around next week just to read how they've dropped and how much of a minority the "comic book fans" are. I won't be surprised if stream tv and collider drops their after shows after this.
