Ashanti and Ali Larter join Resident Evil: Extinction

I wish Anderson and Milla Jovovich were never attached to these movies.

good to hear someone else likes this besides me.

I'm with you JAL. I actually I'm looking forward to this even though Ashanti can't act:(

lol its like holy **** ashantis a zombie, WTF!?

I like the RE movies. I thought the first was pretty cool. The second one was hit and miss....the script was a mess, alice is one of the WORST characters ever, and hand to hand fighting nemesis? I mean S.T.A.R.S.' 'special tactics' was to stand in a line and get shot....but it still entertained me to a degree. I like Carlos, and the street fights between cops, STARS and zombies and some other stuff.

I will see this. I will keep my expectations low but at the least i expect to be entertained.

Give Carlos and Jill main roles, kill off alice early and you could turn the franchise into something special.

BTW I loved Romero's RE script. I could see it vividly, and still wish it would have been made.

I didn't like RE. I think it's one piece of ****. Altough it has good beginning and ending. RE:A then was much better. I enjoyed it quite much. But I wish it would'v have more gore (you can't make a zombie movie without lots and lots of blood) and clearier fighting sequences. I'm optimistic about RE:E. I hate Mike Epps but what can you do.

Really now, wtf kind of word is "CLEARIER"? Come on. That's offensively stupid, isn't it?:(

They should remake this franchise, and get rid of the Alice character.

Well, yeah. But I'd remember it had kinda much blood? Gore at least.

Umm, it is a word. Check it. You may have also noticed that I'm from a country which's native language isn't english. (So I'm allowed to make mistakes in english. ;))

And the graveyard attack was anything that clear. It was a messy sht.

not in my dictionary, closest things were:
1. clearer
2. clear-air
3. curlier
4. claries
5. clerics
6. clammier
7. cleric
8. clarkia
9. clary
10. clarion

But I did not see the Finland location so nevermind and f*** me.

These films are ok nothing special and deffinetly not worth veiwing multiple times but once or twice is ok.

Holy cow this film series is like a plague that won't go away.

I could care less if they're bringing in another character from the game. In fact, I'm rather opposed to the idea, because they've already done enough damage to the franchise already. If I had things my way, Resident Evil Extinction would never even get made.

Also, why the heck is Claire leading a caravan across a Nevada desert? Isn't she supposed to be running around Paris looking for Chris? I swear, Anderson doesn't have even a shred of respect for the games' chronology.

I could care less for RE but I'll see it because of Ali Larter. She's dreamy. :o

I have heard in this one, the zombies have taken over the world, and the world is a desolate wasteland, so she's probably just surviving as best she can.

I enjoy the movies, but mainly because I keep reminding myself they have very little to do with the games. They are not 'true' resident evil movies. I mean on the commentary for nemesis, anderson says '(charles ashford) plays a different role in the games.'. I'd say he does, since he's not even IN the games. So much for that 'RE super fan' b.s.

It was funny Anderson said the first was a prequel to the game, but soon after gave up any pretence of a relationship between movies and games.

oh jesus... i laughed so unexpectedly hard at that i made a new noise i've never made before. something like a whining kitten mixed with a motorboat trying to start... and i hurt my nose while making it.

i'm not making fun of the way you type or anything guy, that was just about the funniest description i've ever read. it's right up there with "this smells like the inside of a fake leg!"

The RE movies are AU, but that still doesn't excuse just how little Anderson sticks to the timeline of the series.

I really liked Romero's draft, despite some changes to the game.

Shame we will never see it.

What is this mumbo jumbo at IMDb's boards about Jill/Sienna not being in RE:E?

i loved the RE movies and i cant wait to see where the next will go...

i just hope the ****ING ******ED AND BAD ACTING RAPPERS STAY AWAY!

Yeah me too i liked the movies.

Ali Larter will make a good Claire.
Hopefully Ashanti gets killed off early in the movie and Alice dies a horrible miserable death.
The first two are ok, not good, not bad, just ok.
I still think the first one was WAY better than the second, but we'll see with the third one.
