saw one of those 40 min vids of gameplay put together of everything released so far. it answers most of my questions and worries. i still think a knife underwater would be very helpful. knife strapped to your leg you could use to fend off ,even kill predators, or pry open chest and clams.

Got to play this for about 10/15 minutes today. One section on the ship where the water was amazing and the world looks huge. The other part was in Havana and it looks like quite a good fit for this game. Looking forward to this game more than a normal Assassin's Creed game.

I've only been mildly keeping up with Blackflag, but damn does it look good. Looks to be the biggest of the AC games.

When I heard there was another AC game coming out (just 1 year) after III I thought maybe now my excitement for this series will start to fall. But this new direction and how well it's been executed has put it right near the top of my list, higher than even past ACs have been.

Assassin’s Creed III featured some less-than-stellar missions, many of which involved little more than running between hotspots, triggering a cutscene or glitch or hearing Connor saying something monotone when you got there. It’s interesting that Ubisoft has implemented a mission rating system into Assassin’s Creed 4, then. In game, you’ll be able to (optionally) rate each story mission out of five; the data will then anonymously be sent to Ubisoft to be analysed by their Ubi-boffins, hopefully resulting in better AC games in the future. Yep: AC4 is essentially one giant beta test for Assassin’s Creed 5.

When I first saw Adelwale (not going to bother checking if spelled right) I thought Django too, haha. I hope that's not racist.
