Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood

So it's the red and black plain cloak colour? That version of your regular outfit?

the sleeve is black and white. the belt is silver. its the ebony black dye. There is no red on it.

I love the multiplayer, and the idiots who run around are the best. Most of the time all you have to do is hide in plain sight and they end up coming to you. For the ones on rooftops, I just use the hidden pistol.

It's actually a great system, because while the idiots who run around might get upwards of 8 kills or more, I still tend to win alot of games with only about 3 really high scoring kills. If you blend in, do it completely silently, lock on and follow them a bit, flank them and then maybe do an acrobatic assassination, thats like 750 or 850 points right there.

How do you do silent and/or acrobatic kills? I just tried multiplayer for the first time last night, the most I could get for a kill was 550 points, 100 for the kill, 300 incognito and 150 locked on.

I only tried a couple matches, it is very cool though, stressful too, since you're stalking someone, but knowing someone's doing the same to you.

My favorite way to play is to find a group with a bunch of my character in it, and just stand there waiting. You get a bunch of Lure points when the person after you attacks the wrong one, or you can easily stun them cause you'll see them coming.

And occasionally your target will walk right by. Getting a kill from a hiding spot nets you a lot of points.

The last time I played I got the "Get a kill from a haystack" trophy. I went into the game determined to get it and I actually got it right away which was awesome.

my god this game is long. I feel as if Ive been playing it forever

yeah i took a break from it for a while. got sidetracked doing alot of other things, like getting chest and repairing stuff. or leveling the assassins.

took me over 20 hours to beat it, same as assissins creed 2 but this game just felt longer

I beat it in 15. Repaired Rome to 100% and did all the Lairs, too. Really didn't seem all that much longer than longer than average nowadays. I didn't do any of the flag and feather searching crap, though.

I finally beat it yesterday and it took me just under 16 hours so I guess it wasnt that long compared to the last. Man it felt like it though and I think its bc there were soooo many missions.

Overall great game but I dont feel it was necesary at all. I loved Ezio in AC2 but I was satisfied with what they offered with him. I ont feel as if he needed revisiting and wish they had gone with another assassin in this game. I guess it would then be AC3 instead. I ignored the MP to focus on beating the SP, but I willtry it online soon bc I liked it in the beta

Loving this game so far. Really like the assassin team customization aswell as the crossbow and poison darts.

Is there anywhere I can check what Guild missions I have accomplished or are open? I looked through the pause menu and couldn't find it. I kind of feel like I should have finished a couple but didn't notice if the little message was displayed.

I think those are on the chalkboards in the Guild houses you build

Uh no, the ebony black dye that you actually buy in the stores has red on it. Are you sure thats not just the Altairs Armour from Uplay? Is there gold on it?

Yea it was the Altair armor. I got it working now. thanks for the help. I kept thinking I was wearing the ebony suit. When I went to outfits and selected Altair armor I never took it off and didn't notice the difference between it and the black dye. I thought if I select plain cloak it would go back to normal but forgot cloaks are separate from the outfit. I had to go back to Altair armor and unequip it.

Ugh, did the Banker sequence last night getting 100% synch on the escort part seems like it's going to be a pain. The dude just invited trouble, I was staying district, him not so much. I was doing fine, just calling arrow storms from a pack of courtisans, but ran into a guy on horseback that did nothing but f with me until I broke cover.

Ah, ok. I don't think I've even built any of those beyond the ones you build during core memory sequences. Thanks.

You can also see the Guild challenges in within the DNA sequence in the pause menu. The Guild stuff is one of the last DNA sequences.

I'm loving this game, it's so tough to put down, especially when I have my assassin's out on missions. I just want to wait till they get back and see where they've leveled up to. Finally took down the last of the Borgia Towers last night, so I have all ten assassin's, a few are just about to hit level 10, do they become full assassin's then? Is that the highest level. I've also renovated/unlocked all the shops, viewpoints and tunnel entrances and gotten all the feathers. Next I want to finsh up the Romulus lairs and Subject 16 stuff I've finshed/gotten two of both right now I think. There's just so much to do in the game. I thought the game would feel too much like a add-on/DLC/expansion pack, but it's not that way at all.

Hey does anyone who were is the best place to accomplish the dive from 25 meters theives guild mission? I've tried a few times to do it from the top of Ezio's hideout, but I can never get him to actually dive, I've tried a couple other places, but the missions completed message just never pops up and I've checked the status of those missions and I didn't just miss it because it's still uncompleted.

I've done the dive from ezios hideout and from this former Borgia tower near the barracks. On a side note when Leo comes out of the closet to ezio I nearly fell
out of seat hilarious moment.

Finally beat the game with 100% sync, please the next one has to be about Desmond. I'm all for ones after that being about other anicient assassin's. Maybe use a different main character using the animus to track another conspiracy, but I think it's time for a modern one, where we're at in the modern time story, it needs to be about Desmond.

Yeah, I agree. I know some people don't like the idea, but at this point, another trip into the past from the main series will just be wheel-spinning.

Yea i think the signs point to Desmond taking over. Ill be really surprised if they give us yet another ancestor to take control over. I just hope the gameplay doesnt change up too much. I really enjoy stabbing people with swords.

I think there will definitely be sections of the next game that take place in the animus. The dialogue at the end of Brotherhood suggests that unconscious-stabby Desmond was plugged back in until they figured out what to do with him.

Maybe the animus will be all glitchy now. His brain jumping all over the place and bleeding in what happened at the end of the game. Then after a few hours of that, Desmond gets out and it's officially his game from then on.

I could totally see the 3rd game starting with Desmond breaking out and escaping the Assassins for some reason and being a fugitive from both clans, Assassins and Templars, and trying to find the temples on his own. Maybe Rebecca and Sean are allies because they know Desmond personally and know he wouldn't have really wanted to hurt Lucy. That could be cool.
