Sci-Fi Avatar: The Way Of Water

I love Cameron. I'd of loved it if he had of made a third Terminator.

I think time has proven that it's actually impossible to make a third Terminator without it either being a disaster or, at the very least, forgettable or mediocre.

Admittedly, I don't think Rise of the Machines is as bad as Salvation, Genisys, and Dark Fate, but it still doesn't reach what the first two accomplished.

By the way, Terminator Salvation is a little underrated. That film had great camerawork and cool action setpieces.

Dark Fate is as close to a James Cameron led Terminator that we were ever going to get. He had a lot of control over it in terms of story and editing.

Because I've seen Ryan Gosling's skit from SNL too many times, the first thing I noticed was that the Papyrus font is gone. :hehe:

Also am I the only who feels like the dropship along with the building interior & exterior shots are practically straight out of Aliens? Now I'm imagining a potential crossover with the Xenomorphs....

I don’t understand how people are saying the CGI hasn’t improved… The closeups, the backgrounds, the water, the textures, the movements. It all looks insanely good. I also really like the look of the new Na’vi characters that we’re seeing. I wasn’t even a big fan of the first one but this looks and feels epic.

I dont care its just how i see it.
Its a difference in tastes, and thats a good thing, not everyone can like the same stuff.

You guys really need to give it a rest with Terminator. It ended with T2. It ran it's course. They shouldn't have made all those terrible sequels afterwards. Same goes for Alien.

Can't say I'm really looking forward to this as I've never watched Avatar all the way through and don't feel compelled to do so now after this trailer.

Looks the same.

I expected 13 years of technological advancements to result in something more groundbreaking, especially from someone like Cameron.

That being said, this still looks visually stunning and I am there opening night.

He was never going to change the art style. And at this point, with the tech, you are going to see the improvements in small things. There are some god damn amazing bits of animation shown.

Yeah it would have been best if it never went passed T2.

Sarah Connor Chronicles disagrees.
