I think Ben Grimm against the Frost Giants is virtually unbeatable, especially if teamed up with Dr Strange or Johnny Storm. But even when teamed with anyone else, he's still practically unstoppable against them.

He's no good in the pvp, I can always beat him

Well he's not good against everyone of course. But against the Frost Giants I always use him. Not only does he not get affected by their cold or their attacks, but he always gets an extra turn since I always use the stone wall strategy and they're no match for him. And if he gets either the terresing boost from Dr Strange or is using the Agent Venom valentine, then his health is indefinitely replenished.

But against other foes, he doesn't work so well.

huh, so far beating the horsemen is easy, already beat 2 with over 100K points and just need more ISO to beat the other 2. Sure wish I can win the 1000 ISO in the roulette

I'm currently in the 48 hour research. I'm almost all out of isos, so yeah, hitting the 1000 isos in the roulette would be great lol. This SO certainly demands a lot of them due to having to do deploys for the deathfrost shards, of which i only have 5 so far .

I haven't really done much research. What is the idea behind it? I usually don't have enough currency to buy any of the things anyway.

That couple of days where I missed collection of UIso from allies' maps and the day of missed roulette and daily gifts is what's stopping me so far. I should probably still get Iceman on Saturday or Sunday. Getting his alts will take a bit longer since I still need 7 of those Deathfrost Shards before I can tackle the Horsemen tasks.

Does anyone have a strategy regarding the selection of heroes for the teams? I dont, i just try and have at least one of each type, and then i put my lower level heroes in the mix with level 13 ones, to help them out lol.

I'm considering using gold to get the shards, unless they start dropping more for me.

I stuck heroes together that tend to have multiple team-up bonuses for higher scores (for instance, QS, SW, and Vision give 7-8 different bonuses when together) and to have balance among classes. There are some heroes that I won't even use, like She Hulk or Luke Cage, just to have heroes available for deploys.

^ hmm very interesting, i actually hadnt thought about teaming certain heroes together for bonuses, big duh to me. Will definitely be more aware next time i have to choose teams, tnx

Well I got onto the 3rd mission where it's split up even further. But not after defeating Seline. I went and replayed and faced the Living Monolith instead. But since I don't have that many heroes to begin with (only about 9 or 10 in all), when they're split up that much, there aren't many to be deployed to either Wakanda or San Fransisco. Only about 3 maximum.

I have a question: where it says for a particular mission that, say, Level 41 is needed, and that's the level I'm on at the time - what happens if I go up a few levels in the meantime by playing the non SO missions? Will the SO mission become easier for me if, when I last left it, I was on Level 41, but now I've jumped to say, Level 43?

Nope. Missions scale up in level with you.

I realise that, if you're starting a new one. Normally they say which level is required. But since you can play both the SO and the ordinary missions simultaneously without having to abort one, and can therefore level up in an ordinary mission, then that's why I wondered if the SO also scales up as well.

So if I had started the SO at level 41, left it for a bit but hadn't finished it, and then played an ordinary mission and got up to level 43, then if I returned to that same SO mission, would it have also scaled up to level 43 or would it still be at level 41?

Well in that case it would stay the same level it was when you started it.

So I checked my research on a whim and the blueprint for my Vibranium reward armor from last PVP season was sitting in there. I have no idea how long it's been there.

Unbelievable!! I won the 1,000 ISO once I'm back from work I can finish the other 2 horsemen battles and get Iceman tomorrow

As for me...

Did you just farm hundreds of command points over a long period of time? Or did you purchase them with gold? How could you get that many heroes otherwise (some of which cost 90 CPs or more)?

The game has been going for nearly 2 years now (1 on Playdom's site) so not surprising he's got most of the heroes.

Yeah I have everyone but Agent Venom. I've been playing since about 2 months after the game came out on Facebook. Trust me in the beginning I struggled to build up resources too.

For a while before Season 2 came out the only thing a lot of veteran players had to do was farm mission 12.2. I got about 1000 CP from that.

It was on Facebook for over a year before a version went on Playdom's own site. I've been playing since the beginning and have everyone. CP use to actually drop during fights in the first several months so it was pretty easy to get heroes. Then when they fixed that, 12.2 became the go-to spot for leveling heroes and gaining CP. I'm at nearly 1600 CP and I've yet to buy any of the Horseman alts.
