Best place for me was in Mission 3, where I'd maybe only do the first couple medium and/or hard battles that popped up with demons. I was using a team of CA/Falcon/Iceman to get multiple critical hits at a time so they were dropping nearly every battle.

Do they only drop when you get critical hits?

So is the Hood no longer the Epic Boss in Mission 1 anymore? Now he seems to have been replaced by Dormammu.

Did Playdom feel that the Hood wasn't enough of a challenge? I fought the Epic boss before when it was still the Hood back when I was still around task 9. Anyone who managed to finish the entire SO before he was replaced would also only have had to have faced the Hood instead of Dormammu, making it somewhat easier for them.

I'm stuck on Task 24 now until I can get more UISOs to get 3 stars for Mission 1.

Pre-season Gamma is now live. Seems they've fixed the weapon scaling problem from the last one and there really aren't any one-shots anymore.

I wish we could have an SO with someone I really want to recruit. I'd like a classic hero like Silver Surfer or Namor. I'm just getting Blade and Morbius because a future SO might require them and I don't want to have to buy them with CPs later on.

You can buy the 15 skulls in Task 22, but it would be a waste of gold when you can easily get them by just fighting the relevant battles where they drop in the course of the fight.

Task 23 isn't a research task. You just use blade in combat with his various abilities. Can be all done in one battle.

I'm on Task 25 now. Don't have enough UISOs to complete today though. I think maybe I need to skip the deploys for now until doing the Epic run for Blade. Can always go back later to get the regenerative ooze. I've already probably used up too many UISOs trying to get them so far and then can't complete the missions in one go. At the moment, it's practically 1 task per day for me.

Same here. I only have 6 so far. I'm more likely to 4-star all the missions before getting all the oozes.

I have 10 oozes so far, so halfway there. Haven't done every deploy either as I've never had enough UISOs.

I'm now on the Epic Run but don't have enough UISOs to finish it today. Didn't get anything good in the daily roulette.

Hopefully I'll have Blade by tomorrow or the day after at the latest.

It was always like that. The Hood is epic, but when you get to the last task, it adds Dormammu, you can fight either the same way they did in the Winter Soldier ops, with that dual path thing.

How do you do a dual path? Dormammu is to be found in Mission 1, right? So if I do all the deploys it will take me to him and not the Hood? I don't want to use up UISOs on my epic run only to find that the Hood awaits me on the other end.

Both will show up as fight options, but just do what the task list says and fight Dormammu to get Blade.

Honestly I've had a much harder time getting A-Isos. Been trying to get Wasps for weeks now. Had to have played that mission at least 200 times at this point. got the weapon about 20 times, never the A-iso.

I'm thinking about sitting this Spec Ops completely. It's way harder to navigate than anything I've ever done in this game. Deploys aren't an option because I set up my team wrong. It's just not any fun so far.

It's about the same as the Apocalypse SO in terms of difficulty of navigation, which was my very first SO when I had only been playing a few weeks. Also, you can re-set up your team by playing Mission 1 and put different players in their place. It does help the more heroes you have, especially those at higher levels, because then you can simply pick the best ones.

Picked up Blade earlier. Am up to 13 regenerative oozes now. Mission 1 might be the best place to get them with the character specific deploys.Don't have enough UISOs to try for anymore today though.

At 11 regenerative ooze. I've been getting about 2 per run in Mission 1 the past couple day so if that keeps up, I'll have 20 within the next week.

How the heck am I ever supposed to defeat Dormammu with a score over 75,000 in Chapter 6 Mission 5? In order to really get those higher scores I need to be able to fight the mini boss and the boss together. However, there are no more battles to fight in order to progress further in the mission unless I actually fight Blackheart separately. But if I do that, then it reduces my score in the boss fight, even with almost 500 overkill and I still come nowhere close.

I've tried this a few times now and there doesn't seem to be any way to fight both mini boss and boss together. I can't use Iron Man either because the two fire demons in the first wave get healed instead of hurt if I use Iron Man's unibeam against them to try to epic overkill. I tried it with Sandman's hammer blow and even with epic overkills I still couldn't come close to the required score.

Has anyone ever fought mini boss and boss together here?

Season 2, Chapter 2, mission 4 I think. It gives her first ability incapacitation. Got Ant-Man's on the epic on that mission so i no longer have to do every deploy and mission, but even with beign able to beat Viper with just 30 energy each I've had to have beaten her 200 times at least and never got the a-iso. Ah well, the game has to give it up eventually.

Yeah I finished with all the gold I got from leveling up by doing the spec ops and farming for the Wasp a-iso. up about 15 levels from doing it all.

Well so much for Mission 1 being better for farming regenerative oozes. I did all the deploys in them today and came up empty handed in every case. Now I don't have enough UISOs to try again until tomorrow at least.

Sometimes, after some deploys with certain characters in Mission 1, I've noticed that even before you click to see what you've gained for the reward, the task list to the left of the screen is already showing the regenerative oozes checked off, as if you're guaranteed to get one. When I have clicked on a square when this happens, I have gotten an ooze without fail, almost as if I could've clicked any square and it would've still be guaranteed. I don't know why this happens sometimes and other times not.
