Avengers Alliance - Part 4

Well so much for Mission 1 being better for farming regenerative oozes. I did all the deploys in them today and came up empty handed in every case. Now I don't have enough UISOs to try again until tomorrow at least.

Sometimes, after some deploys with certain characters in Mission 1, I've noticed that even before you click to see what you've gained for the reward, the task list to the left of the screen is already showing the regenerative oozes checked off, as if you're guaranteed to get one. When I have clicked on a square when this happens, I have gotten an ooze without fail, almost as if I could've clicked any square and it would've still be guaranteed. I don't know why this happens sometimes and other times not.
It always been that way with collection tasks. As soon as you click to collect a deploy, the random number generator will determine what you get and the task list will update accordingly.

Can we get the skulls outside of Spec-Ops?

Where you click doesn't matter. The reward is determined before then and clicking a box is just the illusion of choice.

I did the research for the Hallowed Flame Thrower. I like it a lot, at least for this SO. I paired it with the Vampire Sword to get the added bonus for it.

I'm up to 15 regenerative ooze now. Should only be a matter of time before I get enough to complete the task. I found I can get 4 deploys in Mission 1 while using only 80 UIso.

So anyone know a solution to this problem below? How can I fight both Dormammu and Blackheart at once when I can't progress in the mission without fighting Blackheart separately? I've done nearly all the deploys apart from 2 which I can't do as I don't have the heroes for it.

How the heck am I ever supposed to defeat Dormammu with a score over 75,000 in Chapter 6 Mission 5? In order to really get those higher scores I need to be able to fight the mini boss and the boss together. However, there are no more battles to fight in order to progress further in the mission unless I actually fight Blackheart separately. But if I do that, then it reduces my score in the boss fight, even with almost 500 overkill and I still come nowhere close.

I've tried this a few times now and there doesn't seem to be any way to fight both mini boss and boss together. I can't use Iron Man either because the two fire demons in the first wave get healed instead of hurt if I use Iron Man's unibeam against them to try to epic overkill. I tried it with Sandman's hammer blow and even with epic overkills I still couldn't come close to the required score.

Has anyone ever fought mini boss and boss together here?

What can I do?

If you lose battles on purpose, the yellow and red ones, it might progress the boss bar enough to get them both active at the same time without the deploys. Just a thought.

As far as epic overkilling those demons that fire heals, maybe Scarlet Witch or Dr. Strange. Those are 2 of my best blasters.

Ok I'll try that, thanks. I don't have Scarlet Witch yet, which is one of the required deploys for that mission. Don't know if having her allows Blackheart and Dormammu to appear in the same battle. I do need to get her soon when I have enough CPs. She will probably be my next recruit.

Are you just aborting mission 1 after collecting your regenerative oozes? Or are you going for a 5 star and completing it? But if you 5 star the mission won't it always be at your current level, making it much harder?

I do notice that for Season 2 Chapter 3, for which I am 93% complete at the moment, I still have a long way to go. I have to complete all the deploys in that chapter, but some of them cost 200 CPs which I don't have. It feels so near and yet so far. I don't know if I'll be completing that chapter this year as I'll need the extra CPs for the next SO.

Yeah, SW is one of my fave characters to use in this game. I had taken a long break from facebook games, but her and Vision were 2 of the first ones I bought when I came back. At level 14 she can wreck havoc.

Actually, looking at her attacks, they are energy based so maybe they won't help you against those demon guys. Same with Doc Strange's single target attack. Maybe Hulk is your best option. Thor's hammer throw should be ok too.

I have all the missions in the SO 4-starred right now. When I'm doing Mission 1 runs, I'm doing 4 deploys and 4 battles (sometimes only need to do 3 if the right battles and deploys show up) and then aborting. Doing anymore just doesn't seem very efficient with my UIso.

I'm up to 15 regenerative oozes now. Couldn't do the mission in 80 UISOs though, because of the way one of the deploys (I think it was Medusa) appeared only later so required me to fight an extra battle. Won't be able to do anything more today now.

Just got 1000 UISOs.

I can't remember the last time I got that in the damn roulette.

I'm up to 18 oozes after my latest run got me 3 of them. Down to only 30 UIso so I'll have to wait until tomorrow to attempt another run.

So that means you can click any square really at all? You could just always click the middle square every time, for example, and the result is already predetermined?

Only 1 ooze from the battle today. So I'm only up to 16 now.

Got my 20th this morning but don't have enough UIso to do any more SO battles. It'll likely be a couple days before I can complete the Morbius tasks.

I did mission 1 earlier and didn't get any oozes at all.

This SO seems to be dragging on for ages. I'm guessing the next one won't start for a few weeks after since this was such a long one and came only shortly after the Savage Land one?

Do they still do SOs over Christmas usually? Or would it have ended before then?

This SO has only been going for 2 weeks so it doesn't really feel like it's dragging. It's probably the farming for oozes that's making it feel that way for you.

Came around, picked up SO again. The next task was 2-star mission 1 anyway, best thing to do was cancel mission 2 for now and back track. Had me going for a second when I missed the 2-star mark by less than 500 points.

Up to 18 oozes now. No more UISOs left for today. Hopefully I'll get the other 2 tomorrow as this is taking way too long. I don't even really care for Morbius.

I hope the next SO has a more interesting hero than Blade. I want someone like Silver Surfer or Namor.

When is another hero going to be released for recruiting?

Yeap, you can see that the "progress" sign appears, even before you click, if you are gonna get a serum. And with the daily/boss/PVP roulette it used to be like that (not sure now), you could see the added gold or CP before the roulette stops

I got my 20th Ooze a couple of days ago. When you're on the next task for the mini-bosses I suggest doing Mission 2 until you get it then aborting. It only costs 40 UIso.

Thanks for the tip. I finally collected all 20 oozes today.

Well it took me 50 UIso last time. Still the way to go though.
