Why is he fighting for the heroes anyway? Why do we keep getting villains instead of all these heroes who are still missing from the ranks?

...the theme of the lockboxes has always been "villainous" characters. ETA: zenith has a good explanation too.


5 covers for Fixer...and I also finally got Kang...I'm not that interested in Sandman or Taskmaster (only two lockbox characters I'm missing)...wasn't really playing when those two were introduced and never started collecting...

Sandman is pretty good. He deals huge damage with his hammer blow.

I like how we can get lock boxes with PVP. It seems more frequent than group bosses, which rely on your allies actually selecting you to fight their group boss. Have any other lock boxes been done via PVP?

I wish there were some way to get the older ones like Elektra or Taskmaster. They're expired now but even if they weren't they'd cost too much in gold.

If Sandman's good...then maybe I'll have to try. How's Taskmaster? I think you can still buy the Taskmaster boxes? I think they're the mimetic boxes in the store?

I don't have Taskmaster but I've fought him and he would be good to have. It would take tons of gold to recruit him, allowing for all the duplicate covers.

You're welcome. Taskmaster is a bit like Punisher, Rogue and Mockingbird as far as I remember. Unless he ever becomes available to recruit normally or I had tons of gold to spare, I don't see myself getting him anytime soon.

BTW, why on the first 5 PVP battles (where you win the lock boxes) you seem to gain more experience at the end of the fight than ordinary ones? I gain about 300 XP for the first 5, but then only about 5 XP for all subsequent ones.

It's been like that for the longest time. You only get max XP on the first five counting battles, sort of like how you only get lockboxes rewards for those same five battle wins.

There is in fact a Black Friday sale on Avengers Alliance today. But it's just the PVP heroes which are all selling at 25% off. That's 25% off in gold, which is still no good for me, since I would like them to be 25% off CP as I still don't have enough gold to get them.

Why don't they ever sell them at a discounted CP price instead of gold?

And it's very annoying to fight a battle, get to the end and then shockwave crashes before you get the boss roulette spin.

What browser are you using if? If it's Chrome, you should disable/turn off the built-in Flash plug-in since it can conflict with the downloaded version used in other browsers. Type in chrome://plugins in the address bar to access Chrome's plug-ins, click on the Details button in the upper right to show the full list of plug-ins, find the Adobe Flash Player section and disable the Pepperflash version of the plug-in. You may also want to make sure you have the latest downloadable version of Flash just so it's running optimally.

After nearly 70 runs through Season 2 Chapter 2.1, I finally have Hercules' AIso. Glad I won't have to see that mission again.

I just barely managed to recruit Taskmaster before his pvp tournament ended. A slow start on this one doesn't bode well for my success.

Still only 5 covers. Only 5 lockboxes today and nothing won on the roulette, so nothing to open until tomorrow.

After taking forever to get Hercules' AIso in Season 2 Chapter 2.1, I've gotten X-23 and Vision's AIsos in a total of about 6-7 runs. Hopefully this means I'll be getting the rest of the Chapter 2 AIsos soon.

Up to 6 covers now, no dupes. But no lockboxes won in the daily PVP roulette. They should give us the opportunity to win them in the normal daily roulette as well.

110 LB and still not opening them. Really getting tired of facing Gamora and Groot so many times in the pvp, Gamora a pain in the ass if she gets 1st move with that shout of hers

I'm at 7 covers and 2 dupes. I'm at 9 LBs right now so I have to hold off on opening again until tomorrow.

Also, I'll have every hero at LVL 14 once Morbius is done just after 11 PM tonight.
