I hope SO 21 doesn't come out just yet. I haven't farmed enough CPs since I've already spent some on other heroes in the meantime. However, I hope that Medusa is one of the required heroes for the Epic Boss since I've already recruited her.

Do people here generally buy the heroes you want, or do you mostly buy the ones you're required to recruit either for SOs, deploys, heroic battles, fighting epic bosses etc?

For me, I get anyone that's released since I've gotten everyone else and have enough CP to buy nearly every alt in the game and still have some left over. In your case, it's probably best to buy those needed for SOs since you don't have the CP reserves to just buy anyone and expect to have enough to pick up the one or two heroes you may need for the next SO without doing CP farming during it.

If i have plenty of CP's i buy whoever i want. If i dont have as much i tend to wait for the next SO or the next chapter release and see who they require. If it's heroes i already have i allow myself to get a hero i want

Any idea when we'll get chapter 7? i finally managed to finish 6 because of SO and then vacation lol. I guess i'll farm CP's until we get new stuff, cause i refuse to play PVP.

I'd say within the next month. I think we may get SO 21 before Chapter 7 actually releases so the release schedule is probably like: PVP Pre-season Beta, PVP 17, SO 21, Chapter 7 (with some overlap in the starts of PVP, SO, and Chapter 7.)

I've finished as much of Chapter 6 as I can, and all the previous chapters without being able to do all the deploys, heroic battles or epic bosses. There are a few odd tasks left, but I guess there's nothing much else to do except play 12.2 and farm CPs.

I wonder if Blackbolt might be a required hero for SO21's epic boss since they released him recently after he was unavailable for a while, and he's also 200 CPs. He did seem to be expired for ages unlike some other previous SO heroes. Was there any reason for that?

Groot's alts and CO will be available after the server reset in the morning. It'll be nice to finally be able to get all the alts.

Had to re-slot Rocket with evasion and stamina to finally beat his last sim challenge. Thought I might not unlock his alt before time expired.

They unlock just from playing the last fight. But you have to beat it to finish the quests.

Still undecided if I should go with Guardian Generalist Groot with Morale Boost E-ISO + Guardian Inf Gamora, or Guardian Bruiser Groot with Big and Fast E-ISO, + Guardian Generalist Rocket with Morale Boost E-ISO.

I think it will be Grootora, that guaranteed hit looks awesome.

So is the next SO (21) apparently not an Inhumans one according to MAA Insiders?

What do you think it will be based on the heroes that have been recently released ( assuming that you normally have to recruit a recently released one)? It would also have to be a hero that everyone can get, and not a PVP or CO one.

With SO 21 not involving the Inhumans, I think anyone's guess is as good as any right now. I'm stumped on who it could be.

The most recent hero releases have been Guardians or Inhumans. Difficult to tell who they'll require you to recruit from the latest ones since it seems Medusa isn't one of them now. Going back further, haven't most heroes already been used for the epic runs already in previous SOs?

Didn't we already have the Inhumans? When we got Black Bolt?

No, the Spec Op for Black Bolt involved Thanos and the Black Order. Thane was also the Lockbox for that, but it didn't really deal with the Inhumans as it's story line.

The most recent heroes that have been released (that don't require a lock box or to win in an SO) are:

Medusa, Groot, Drax, Gamora, Fandral, Hogun, Agent Venom, Domino, Dr Voodoo, Spiral and Blackbolt (who just became available recently for 200).

All of the Guardians were just used in the previous SO. That leaves Medusa, Fandral, Hogun, Agent Venom, Domino, Dr Voodoo, Spiral and Blackbolt.

Haven't Agent Venom and Spiral been required before in previous SOs? Not sure about Domino or Dr Voodoo or Fandral and Hogun.

Do they ever feature a required hero for the epic run more than once? Eg, could Rocket Raccoon be the required hero for SO 20, and say, SO 30 in the future?

Although signs would point to Medusa as the only recent hero required for the next SO, it doesn't seem to make sense to use her, if they have an Inhumans storyline planned for the future. Surely they must know ahead of time, so wouldn't they save her for that instead of just using her for a random storyline eg Red She-Hulk/ Gamma monsters?

The main Inhuman I'm interested in after Blackbolt and Medusa is Crystal. Then after that would come Triton. Gorgon and Karnak aren't that interesting to me.

Has Medusa's abilities been slightly tweaked since being released? Just today she suddenly seems to have this protect allies ability as one of her passives which was never there before in all this time I've used her since her release. Has anyone else noticed this? And if it has been changed, why did they do that? Not that I'm complaining.

Or was it there all along but was never trigged somehow (which I find hard to believe)?

They asked for Gamora in the Symbiotes SO, so no, it is not like a mandatory idea for them to save a character for a specific SO.

The heroes required will probably be Medusa, Drax and a low (or old 90) CP hero.

Rocket and Gamora are the only Guardians who were required for special ops, so Drax and/or Groot are a possibility.

Drax and Groot aren't 200 CP heroes though. Drax is 135 while Groot is 90. I thought they usually go for a 200 CP hero plus one other who is either 90 or 135. Maybe Blackbolt will be required since he's 200 and they just released him to buy.
