I hope a Luke Cage and/or Black Panther movies gets going quickly. Avengers, if anything, has now dramatically increased the appeal of any future Marvel movies in the hopes that these characters will now tie into a future Avengers movie or any other Marvel movie.

The success of this movie has pretty much forever changes how comic book movies will be produced

I think Ms. Marvel would be the next best female Avenger to have on the team, with respect to Wasp. To be honest, as I said before, I just don't really care for Ant-Man or Wasp?

So is Cap 2 basically going to be the West Coast Avengers movie? I kind of hope not. I think we need the movie to focus more on Cap finding his place in the world and maybe finding a new romantic love interest. Red Skull coming back would be good because it would be like most of Cap's friends and loved ones are dead except Red Skull. Well there is Peggy, but she's old and probably married to Stan Lee.

Now c'mon now guys, how awesome would that be if we found out that Stan Lee turned out to be Peggy's husband?

Yeah I agree, I think the person was kind of making stuff up. Seriously, Punisher in a Cap sequel? I highly doubt it. Cap and Punisher rarely interact with each other anyway, it's way too obscure when you consider characters that could go in such as Winter Soldier, Baron Zemo, Red Skull, Sharon Carter, the Falcon, etc.

After finally reading those rumors, they sound like fan wank of the highest order. "Marvel Intern" really needs a new gig if that's the crap he comes up with.

The guy just listed all of the FOJs (Friends of Joss) he could think of, then threw in one or two of Shane Black's buddies for good measure. The day Eliza Dushku is seriously considered for the Wasp is the day Marvel jumps the shark. Next thing you know, someone will float Summer Glau for Ms. Marvel.

My feelings exactly.

And as a female, it's a matter of gender pride for me to see a female powerhouse more on the level of the Big 4 on this team. Or in movies at all. Just give me a true female superhero. If it can't be Wonder Woman, let it be Ms. Marvel. She's cool enough.

I think that's a fair assessment. I hope Ms. Marvel is the next female Avenger. That's a good point that females will probably want to see a female Avengers on the level of the big four.

I think it would be the same for African Americans, which is why I would love to see Black Panther.

Those rumors on the past page are bogus IMO. Strange as a cameo in Thor 2 would be fine, but don't make him a major character and I actually don't want him in The Avengers 2 in a major capacity.
