"Dear followers and friends,

The time has come for us to let our voices heard! After watching the AMAZING episodes of Avengers EMH, that aired in Australia, i feel more than ever, that cancelling a show of this quality is a crime. And keeping that horrible Ultimate Spider-man cartoon is another crime of the same magnitude.

Let us all act, and show Marvel, Joe Quesada, and Man of Action, that we want Avengers EMH to continue for a third season, and that we want Ultimate Spider-man cancelled, and replaced by either season 3 of Spectacular Spider-man (highly unlikely) or a new Spidey show of the same quality Spectacular had.

Please, i urge all of you to send a message to Joe Quesada, Marvel and Man of action through twitter and facebook. Below are the links and addresses for their Twitter/Facebook pages:

Joe Quesada's Twitter: https://***********/#!/joequesada

Marvel Twitter: https://***********/#!/marvel

Marvel FB page: http://www.facebook.com/Marvel

Man of Action FB page: http://www.facebook.com/ManOfActionStudios

Please act and let us make history. Remember to be polite, professional and never use vulgar words. Let us let Marvel animation know what we want (avengers EMH) and what we hate and do not want (Ultimate Spiderman cartoon).

I also suggest to tweet with the following hashtags #renewavengersemh and #cancelultimatespiderman

Let us all make history! We could not save Spectacular Spider-man and we could not save Wolverine and The X-men. But i believe, with the current technology and social media, we can make a change!

Retweet, and share this post with all your friends and let us make history!

Regards,
"

people realize that these petitions don't actually do anything, right? ***** and moan all you want, they're not gonna change their minds.

The Vision and Spider-Man episodes were okay. The Skrull finale was obnoxiously rushed. I can only imagine this was the beginning of Loeb's influence and mandates.

Someone get this clown out of here because as of now Marvel Animation's future looks terrible.

wow... I've been going allover the 'net checking out other comic websites, blogs, fan forums, facebook, pretty much everything that I could think of... and daamns, the major hate out there for Avengers EMH being s**tcanned and Ultimate Spidey continuing for another season in it's current state is REALLY overwhelming...

I'm just seeing a whole lot more negativity and hostility for what's happening with both shows... and the really bitter feelings about and towards Jeph Loeb and Joe Quesadilla is just as overwhelming...

I just don't get the feeling of ANY large outpouring of positive feelings about the state of the shows or about Loeb and Quesadilla... there ARE a few out there that DO like the shows, but NOT in the majority...

the negatives FAR outweigh any positives in all of this in every respect...

and none of this public outcry can possibly be ignored or denied... of COURSE, Loeb and Quesadilla would be in denial, as they're the "creatives" in charge... and they'll be the first to turn a blind eye to all the criticism...

"see no evil and hear no evil" is their policy, I guess...

but there's NO way that Disney themselves can be blind and deaf to all the outcry... if they ARE, then you can just add "dumb" to that blind and deaf statement... Loeb and Quesadilla are ALREADY there...

the more and more criticism being leveled about the shows has GOT to make the real PTB stand up and take notice and hopefully and eventually give the fans what they want... hopefully...

all this has just GOT to be making Loeb and Quesadilla nervous and feeling all sorts of uncomfortable... I'm sure that they've already been called on the carpet by the higher-ups to discuss about what's going on out there in fandom...

the more the fans complain, the more those two will squirm...

and I LOVE it... :woot:

The Prisoners of War episode was great. Good to see the real Cap back in action. Nice to see him working with Viper too.

Mockingbird looked hot without her mask and slightly torn costume. Her voice sounds like She-Hulk's from the Incredible Hulk cartoon. Is it Cree Summer?

Seriously, I love the show but all these whiny fanboys make me want to vomit.

Honestly, I'm fine with how they wrapped up the Skrull Invasion. There was already a lot going on this season with the Kree, Galactus, Vision, SWORD, etc. So they had to make room somewhere.

People will say anything at this point to bash Loeb etc as it related to the series.

I think RIM is being a bit of a jerk. I think Bell sounded fine in the episode.

People need to get off Keaton's block. He's a very good actor, but he doesn't own the role of Spider-Man. I love Steven Blum as Wolverine but he doesn't own that role either. Other actors have played the characters and played them well.

I'm pretty satisfied with the way the Skrull Invasion wrapped up, I figure there's much bigger fish to fry.

I have no problem with how the Skrull invasion was handled. After all, their civilization was largely crippled by Galactus. They couldn't afford to have a huge invasion like Krang or the Kree, and had to resort to be conniving and underhanded.

Caught up with the 4 new episodes online in one massive Avengers marathon, so SPOILERS WHO HAVEN'T SEEN UP TO THE VISION EPISODE....

I really enjoyed the Infiltration/Secret War episodes:they were grim and pretty bleak. Even though I know our guys would win at the end, I really felt the despair of having an enemy who could be anyone. I had no idea how it would resolve itself (I didn't read the comics) so I was pretty satisfied with the resolution. Not to mention Thor has one of the most bad *ssed entrances I have ever seen in animation. And new armor! I have to echo the criticism of it having a too narrow scope: some flashes to other Super Skrull vs. Marvel heroes around the world would have really sold the epicness of the confict. But that is a minor gripe: I like that there is a fall out afterwards, which leads directly into Along came a Spider...

I really enjoyed the episode, although I am not a fan of teenage Spidey (I always felt he came into his own after high school), and I felt some of the wise cracks fell flat. I don't know whether that was the writers or voice actor's fault, but something was missing, especially when compared to say Hawkeye's wisecraking. But aside from that, I really liked it, touched on some great themes about being a hero, and well, it has Spidey!!!

The Vision episode was good, but not as good as the Spiderman one, which I don't know has to do with just that I really don't know much about Vision compared to Spiderman. But Ultron has to be one of my favorite Marvel baddies, so I can't wait to see him in action again.

BTW, shouldn't the Avengers be doing everything to get Banner out, instead of jetting off to Wakanda to fix Cap's shield? Poor Hulk. I don't think he is going to be to happy to see that he is such a low priority.

I'm not trying to be a jerk, nor I have any intentions to be one. I just have my own opinion on particular things, you know, like any other human being. Yes, it can be critical and harsh sometimes, but if I have a point of view that doesn't match yours or any other individual then it doesn't automatically makes me a bad person. Think about it.

Agreed, you pretty much summed up my thoughts on this show's future and its remaining episodes: they're going to be either okay or passable, but not as good and great as they were under the helm of Yost and his crew.

The Vision episode left me a bit cold.
I mean, the Vision was great, but he's still in Ultron's employ by the end of the episode. I thought he was supposed to be joining the Avengers this season. It's kind of ridiculous that Ms. f***ing Marvel has been an Avenger for several episodes while the Vision's only just been introduced and still doesn't seem like he's actually joining for a while yet.

I thought so, too. But what better way to partially gain the trust of the Avengers by turning against his master.

Let's hope they don't drag Ultron out too long. Ultron Unlimited is 2 episodes away, maybe that's when Vision will join.

The news about Keaton beyond infuriates me.

I haven't seen it yet, so I'll judge Bell's performance on its own terms, nothing against him personally; no, Loeb is where I blame my anger on this.

This would've been one final tip of the hat to my favorite Spidey voice actor and it was ruined. What kills me is that EMH is getting cancelled anyways and you know if Spidey's going to appear on the replacement Avengers show, it's going to be with Bell, so he would've gotten his shot to be Spidey on an Avengers show anyways, but Loeb just has to have his fingers in every pie and ruined Keaton's last shot at playing Spidey on an animated show again.

I think Drake Bell sounded good in the episode and his lines and delivery sounded fine for Spider-Man/Peter Parker.

Ultimate Spider-Man just tries to force in too many stupid jokes and cutaways. If it wasn't for that, it might actually be good. Though I'm not a fan of having Spider-Man with an entourage of younger heroes. It's disappointing to see it be so mediocre because the animation is really well done.

What a great post! Josh is the man, but that still doesn't change anything for me, meaning: I don't like Bell as Spider-Man (although I really wanted to give him a chance) and probably never will. For me he's like Dan Gilvezan (ASM & his Amazing Friends) of the 21st century - not the right choice for the voiceover or the character, out of place and time.

Keaton doesn't own the role. I also associate Barnes as my favorite Spider-Man voice though I did enjoy it a lot how he voiced Spider-man 2099 and Keaton voiced 616 Spider-Man in the Edge of Time videogame.

Keaton's blog post is diplomatic, however, he sort of stoked the flames of all this by his Facebook post and he should've thought better of it before he posted it.
