Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (AVENGERS ENDGAME SPOILERS) Where do we go from now?

I wonder if any of the heroes like Luke Cage, Iron Fist, Daredevil and or Jessica Jones will show up in any of the post Avengers shows

Can't use them for another couple of years due to the rights with netflix.

It is weak sauce for the show to not address it at all. I'll give it a shot and see how much it bothers me, though. Maybe they won't address it this season, but season 7 will? I get not wanting to spoil the movie (at least their PR explanation of not wanting to spoil it) but at the same time, how can you ignore the biggest event in the history of the universe? That irks me and does expose a crack in the connection armor.

The Far From Home trailer however is a MCU game changer, if what they suggest is "true" then Coulson giving up the centipede serum and then the snap divergent point theory just might hold up

Yeah, the only way this is going to make sense for me is if all of season 6 takes place over the course of 10-12 hours or something. Even then, that is a hard sell. I think for me this is really going to highlight the need for Marvel TV to be absorbed by Marvel Studios and run everything under Feige and on Hulu or Disney+.

When it comes to the TV vs Movies thing, I am a staunch defender that the movies really don't have much reason to reference the shows at this point. Things like the Defenders and such are just small potatoes for them, and not every little thing needs referenced everywhere to be same world. I don't NEED to hear Daredevil's name in a Spider-Man film or something. So the "it's pre-IW/Endgame" thing works for me with most of the shows we have gotten so far. But this is an exception. AoS season 5 specifically tied itself to IW by name dropping Thanos and various IW events. Now it is doing a time jump in which it is specifically placing itself in that post-IW world. Even I cannot overlook this.

I'm with you. This a problem because I do need to feel like all of these shows exist in the same universe even if the TV characters don't show up in the films, they just fill in the gaps and provide necessary depth to the MCU. Up to this point, they have done a good job at making everything feel cohesive. Having AoS, Cloak & Dagger, Luke Cage, etc. facing their own challenges while events from the movies are continuing to transpire is really satisfying to me. Season 6 can work if the entire season is confined to a short amount of time and localized, underpopulated area. I won't be able to suspend my disbelief if they are globe-trotting to major metropolitan areas. That would break the show.

I have the feeling they're just going to gloss over it, a bit like they did with Infinity War last year and Daisy only making a vague passing mention. Maybe Mack will just say "we've all suffered a loss, but let's get on with things". That probably would've referred to Coulson, but now they hope it will be general enough to refer to everyone snapped.
My latest brainstorming. They do just like Endgame did with Hawkeye. We drop off Coulson and May and then on Zephyr 1 red shirt agents start going to dust which would be all the tie in you get. Time jump to one year later to Big SHIELD with Director MacKenzie.

The time still sees too long when comparing raid on New York to the Battle of Chicago and how long it should have taken Thanos to launch on Wakanda

I hate this so much. Surely there's a way to cheaply re-edit or re-shoot anything they need to to make the season five years in the future instead of one.

Maybe, but not on such short notice I would think.

By season's end or in the following one there will be ways to retcon anything back in line with Endgame: one unsung strenght of this show is using its limitations to its creative advantage, I am willing to give them time, should they choose to try finding a workaround.
Else, I will enjoy it for what it is, personally it has been a great ride till now, I doubt they will totally disappoint me ever.

I would think in the 7th season since that is now being produced. Where Marvel Studios locked them out Sony's needs may have thrown TV a bone in the plausible tie in race.

I'm pretty sure that both the sixth and seventh seasons were shot before Endgame came out. They're not going to be able to work a retcon plot into the season this late in the game. All we can hope for is changing some captions or ADR.

Urgh. This is such a mess.

Do we know if they already shot season 7?

Even if season 7 is shot, some reshoots were going to be likely. So they can insert stuff in reshoots.

It was renewed for season 6 and 7 at the same time. So no, there is a 7th season coming.

Well if they got nothing from Marvel Studios they faced the problem of really messing up again as when they placed the Agents Battle of Chicago right after the raid on New York. If they guessed it was probably for the snap to be reversed as if nothing happened and there may be a secret deleted scene of that replaced at the last minute.

So we have a post Chicago world with Big SHIELD, as that was the last thing seen by the AoS Marvel Universe, and not remembering the 5 year decimation of the MCU.

In a interview with TVLine Ming-Na Wen has pretty much said that this show "departed" from following the MCU and season 6 takes places before the snap has even happened. This is her exact words; “I think at this point it’s safe to say that we have departed from following the [Marvel] cinematic universe in that sense, and are just telling our own stories and our own situations. All this is happening pre-Snap.”

That makes zero sense
Yeah, last year's AOS finale was happening concurrently with the final act of Infinity War. And this season's premiere takes place a year after that. If the show was in the same reality as the movies they would still be dealing with the effects of the snappening.

With the multiverse opened up with Endgame (and with Season 6 of AOS as well), the simplest explanation is that AOS is taking place in a reality in which Coulson lived. And Thor went for the head.

Or Infinity War no longer happens ? Thanos now dies BEFORE he gets the Stones so Infinity War can NOT happen

It's a different Thanos. They created an alternate timeline when they removed the power stone.
