Loved Peter Dinklage's character in Infinity War...wonder if we will see him again in Avengers 4

I can't imagine they would skip the chance to make an Iron Man suit forged from uru. Same with Cap's shield. Seems like a golden opportunity. After all, the current Iron Man suit, while impressive and possibly the peak of Earth tech, cannot match a completed infinity gauntlet. Stormbreaker however, did. It struggled for a moment, but was able to break through the full might of the infinity gauntlet.

It's just too good a chance to pass up.

The Stormbreaker being able to use the power of the bifrost is going to be a key thing in A4, I feel. They can basically travel anywhere with that thing.

Like to Titan to snag an Iron Man? :cwink:

I think he can just return with Nebula on whatever ship she got there on?

Maybe Stark is going to cannibalise Nebula's parts to build himself a new armour and also a way to get home.

Okoye really is a scene-stealer, in passing.

They need to find a way to develop her character. I mean, she'll be in the Black Panther movies, but I mean outside of that.

I wish she was getting solo instead of Widow

If Namor returns to Marvel, I wonder if the snap will play a factor in them using him. He is all about protecting his people. He likely has no clue of Thanos, but he can easily blame surface dwellers for what is happening. His people would be impacted just like anyone else, so he would just see them turning to dust for no reason. Not that he is going to be in A4 or in anytime but I think it could be a way to bring him in.

If they ever bring back One-Shots, that's really the only other possible chance apart from future Avengers and Black Panther movies.

Maybe Namor will come up from the seas to fight the surface dwellers and find that there is no-one there. :o

I don't really think so.

The way the MCU works, there are lots of possibilities for characters to become involved in different stories.

I could totally see Okoye being featured prominently in some other movie. That would be in phase 4, but I think it will happen.

Maybe in that all-female team movie that Tessa was pitching to Marvel after Ragnarok :yay:

Well, Valkyrie is another character with potential. She has been in the Defenders in the comics, so allied with Doctor Strange. We already see that she has a friendship with Hulk.

I was thinking that she could be in the Doctor Strange sequel, as an example.

But anyway, yeah. Valkyrie, Okoye and Shuri are all going to feature prominently in various ways, I think. That's a gold mine, in terms of potential.

Also - where is Sif?

Also possible. They didn't really give her a lot to work with in the Thor movies, but she could certainly come into the picture in phase 4.

Sif also has potential, though she was under-utilized. The first two Thor movies were generally very cluttered up with too many supporting characters, none of whom made much of an impact.

Valkyrie's role in Ragnarok was a much stronger supporting role.

In the earlier movies, they tried to give the warrior's three and Sif each a little something, along with Darcy, Jane & Co. None of it amounted to anything.

They cleaned house, but Sif notably escaped the massacre. So maybe they think that she could come into the picture later on.

I really like the idea of Hank Pym playing a key role in turning the tide.

It just seems like a cool nod to him being a founding member of the team in the comics.

So, in addition to Tony being a key factor, I'm thinking that Pym will play a hand in it, as well as Fury, who obviously has some sort of contingency plan.

I guess we might get a look at one part of that in the Ant-Man sequel, and the other part in Captain Marvel.

my money is on pym turning to dust in a post credit scene in the ant man movie.

I was thinking that the disappearances might happen sometime during the middle of AM&tW. Maybe after the first act?

But I haven't been following news for that movie closely, so I'm not sure if that fits with the available information.

With regard to this movie, I will have to look again when I go back, but several characters attempt to kill Thanos during the movie, and my memory is that they all aim for the head: Loki, Gamora and Nebula.

They know Thanos better, so they are aware that the heart is not really his weak point.

Thor gets through Thanos' defenses, but he makes the mistake of aiming for the heart.

I remember distinctly Loki and Nebula going for the head. With Gamora, I think that it was the head and neck area also, though that ended up being an illusion.

So another thing I loved in this movie was seeing the toll Ragnarok took on Thor. To see him get so emotional was really nice to see. Plus This teaming up with Rocket Rabbit and Groot made for some of the best stuff in the film. I just can't stop thinking about how wonderful this movie is.

Okay. I saw IW for the second time yesterday. WOW! Let me start off by explaining some things.

Prior to IW,, TDK was my favorite CBM. Hands down. It has my favorite comic book moment of any film (the interrogation room scene and I think it still is my favorite moment). It is a flat out great movie all around. The Avengers would be my second. That movie has probably all my other favorite comic book moments, a lot of them in fact and the group shot is just iconic.

Now IW comes out and to be honest it doesn't have those individual scenes that rival the ones mentioned in movies listed above but it almost feels like it is one big moment. I love this movie. It brought out so many emotions and a big part of that is the execution of Thanos. It is just really on another level. I actually watched Avengers yesterday and I actually think I like it even more now after watching IW. How many movies can say that they made the previous films better just by existing? Now I have only seen it twice and after a couple of months/years TDK may climb back up to that top spot. I don't know. What I do know is that for me IW has now officially claimed the top spot. For now.

Oh she’s excellent. I’m in love with the character and actress.

I frelling loved this movie. Might be my favorite MCU movie. Very different and the ending is great. It sets up CM and will give it a big boost IMO.

How do they defeat Thanos? I think it will mainly be a combination of Thor, Captain Marvel and DR STRANGE. His decision to give up the stone only makes sense because he foresaw only one way to defeat Thanos when he was geeking out earlier in the movie.

I thought we'd get a view of Carol, but their decision to set her movie back in the 90s makes all kinds of sense now.
