Infinity War Avengers: Infinity War SPOILER User Review Thread - Part 2

Also THE END has a history in stories published by Marvel in the books.

You guys could be right but I'm not sure it would just be The End. Maybe The End Game or The Final Chapter or something.

Question for the areas that changed the name for The Avengers, did they also change the name for the DVD/BR release etc?

Avengers: Assemble sounds like the most appropriate title, given what we know so far about the end of 3 and some of the stuff that happens in 4.
And probably the reason why nobody has said the phrase so far in its entirety. They're saving it for 4.

hmm. I like it

It sounds very much like a Russo brothers pitch too. It's a lot better than IW part 2. Something very anti-climactic about that "part 2"

Maybe, but the first film was called 'Avengers Assemble' in some territories, so they might try to avoid stepping on their own toes.

Neither NEW AVENGERS, or SECRET WAR, or AVENGERS FOREVER are spoiler titles. The Russos didn't reveal the title to A4 because it was 'spoilery' for IW.

The spoiler was that the Avengers don't win against Thanos and that IW is, after all, a two-part movie. The title will be 'Infinity Gauntlet'.

Avengers: Assemble would be a fitting title for the next movie

Fitting, but not practical, otherwise in the UK it would have to be 'Avengers Assemble: Again'.

We know the UK had a different title, but if Marvel Studios had Assemble as the subtitle, maybe the folks at the UK can change it again. They changed it once, they can change it twice.

It could be Avengers 4: Infinity War Part 2: Avengers Assemble 2: Again.

Avengers: Half are Shawarma.

I just watched this and holy ****. What a time to be alive. One of the best superhero movies ever.
The battles. The jokes. The acting. The effects. Wow. Definitely 11/10.

Also, the Vision died exactly like most people... visioned. Ba dum tss.
...

Sorry, I couldn't resist.
RIP.

I agree with these. It's a title that makes sense. :)

Avengers: Heist.

Because they said IW was a 90s heist film, and this wasn't, so A4 has to be.

Nah.. we have been over this before here somewhere but IW was definitely a heist film. People just mistake heist for con all the time. There are different types of heists and IW showed one of them - the smash and grab.

Just watched it and I've gotta say it's definitely somewhere up there with Singer's X-Men, Nolan's Batmans, WonderWoman, Black Panther, Deadpool.

I find it's very reminiscent of Singer's X2 in the way they handled character relationships and left us with a pretty massive cliff hanger. Great job! Can't wait to see Wolverine slash into these films with some mutants someday.

It agree that it works like a heist film in certain ways.

That may be more of an analogy than a literal statement, but the connections are clear enough.

The way that the minions are sent out to do the mastermind's dirty work, for example, and sacrificed along the way. The sense of shock and confusion that the characters feel when the plan comes to fruition.

And then the smash and grab aspect that you mention.

It's almost like Thanos is snatching victory from the heroes' grasp. I think that's why the scene at the end is such a close call. And then Thanos vanishes.

No, always been a 10/10 as far as joy scale goes.

Was 10/10 for me the first two viewings, but the third and on were 9/10. Age of Ultron was as 9.25, and after seeing Infinity War twice, I give it a 9.5. If A4 somehow surpasses The Winter Soldier consider my mind blown.

Also missed the blue Man Easter egg again, and watching Ebony Maw makes me want the Russo bros to direct a Phoenix Saga movie, or a proper Days of Future past movie, a proper Age of Apocalypse story, Master Mold, etcetera etcetera. Can anyone tell how big of an X-Men fan I am?
