I'm honestly baffled on how it's being reported on how high the orders for Avengers vs. X-Men are. Everything I have seen from the comic reading public from the Internet to my comic shop has been one big gigantic meh of indifference.

I'm subscribed to Game informer and there is actually an article interviewing the writers of the mini. I'd never seen that before and found it kinda interesting.

Yea I used to read them. I just never saw them in magazine that wasn't a comics magazine. Seemed like Marvel was trying to attract some new readers through the article.

The thing is print media is shot to hell these days and most websites are a comic/sci-fi/gaming/television conglomeration.

These 2 guys need a movie (I mean c'mon Ghost Rider gets 2?)! Terry Crews as Luke and maybe Ray Park or Gary Daniels as Iron Fist.

An Iron Fist movie is in the works, it's been confirmed it'll based off The Immortal Iron Fist. Park is to old for the role now I think, but he'd be great as the stunt double.

Indeed it is, Marvel hired a screenwriter and Feige confirmed the movie would take in part from Immortal Iron Fist. He's stated in the past how he loved what was done with Danny in IIF and that his mythology offers plenty of potential.

Hasn't that script been worked on for like, 4 years now? There hasn't been any news on it in the last year or so. Would be awesome though. Ang Lee to direct.

It's going to be almost two years so yes, it's been awhile.

Already Danny is getting the animated treatment in the Ultimate Spider-Man cartoon but yes, seeing his own tv show would be awesome. They could even do an Iron Fist anime.

Sadly true. AvX will no doubt be rubbish and Marvel will s*** all over Cyclops' team as the Avengers movie is coming out, but I know I'll still buy it...

Despite it being called Avengers vs X-men, it doesnt look like thats going to be the focus of the story. I mean it seems that way at first but the Phoenix Force emerges early on as the main antagonist that they end up banning together to take on
