Comics Back In Black Discussion Thread (Spoilers)

dont know if this has been asked or mentioned, but will all the black costume arcs be put into one single graphic novel, or will they all come seperatly with their corresponding title?

Its way too early to tell bro, the event just started, but knowing marvel they'll milk as much money as they can outta this and probably come out separately.

I'm betting the latter.

That issue look bloody brilliant so far! The throwing the car scene was just incredible.

Ok. Pete is pissed.

Somebody's gonna get ****ed up! lol

I may buy that issue just for that one scene!! Peter actually being pissed off and bad ass....awesome!

I really hope that Peter can get back at Kingpin, but it seems impossible as Daredevil already released Kingpin. Poor guy

It looks great.Garney's pencils do remind me of Romita Jr's.Brilliant!

Actually from one of the pages it looks like Kingpin's still in jail in this issue. I wonder if that's a continuity error on JMS's part. Then again, maybe the cop here is going to tell him he has a meeting with Matt Murdock or something.

This issue Takes a few hours after Captain America's surrender. Matt releases Kingpin two weeks later,

Which means Peter fail to find Kingpin (most likely), or stop himself from tearing him apart ^^

Somebody's gonna have a new hole torn. Pete looks crazed.

If you look through Amazing Spider-Man # 538 again you'll notice during the Kingpin sequence that there is an editorial note that states the story in ASM takes place before what happened in the recent issues of Daredevil.

So, for once, Marvel didn't poo on continuity. Well, not yet anyway. Give them a couple more minutes and they'll shoot a load of idiocy into our brains.

But, yeah, I have to agree that that preview for # 539 is going to be awesome. It's about time that Pete started tossing cars around. If I had the proportionate strength of a spider I'd be throwing cars all the time.

:( So much property damage you'd cost.

I'd throw the cars into the woods or into an area that wouldn't kill people. I'd just want to throw cars around. I mean...imagine if someone cuts you off in traffic and you catch up to them and then pull them out of their car and then launch their car 3 miles into the woods. I mean...seriously...what could they do? And could you imagine that call to the police?

"Oh my God! This guy just threw my car into the woods!"

The 911 operator would hang up on the numbnuts. It'd be great.

But I'm just rambling now.

Yay, Spidey. Back In Black. Hooray. And all that other good stuff.

They haven't really come right out and said exactly WHAT caused it. Because in Civil War # 7 you see him hanging out with Luke Cage in the black suit. Then, of course, in FNSM and SSM he's already in the black suit. It's probably all a combination of what happened with Aunt May, Captain America, and just the entire registration act stuff.

And plus Spider-Man 3 is coming out in 2 months. Gotta grab onto that movie rush!!!

Yeah, the black costume is pretty much right up there with the classic red and blues to most fans. I remember when Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man was coming out and they did all those different variants with Spidey in his different costumes. That was a pretty awesome idea.

However, my favorite is the Scarlet Spider costume. The black costume is cool but Scarlet Spider has a special place in my heart.

Yes, because nothing screams "COOL" more than a ripped blue sweater and red spandex. :oldrazz: :cwink: (kidding)

But that outfit really is that cool.
