Well, you REALLY should pick up the issue, because it's great... but since you insist....

Does Venom come back? Uhh... yes and no. Eddie is crazier than we've ever seen him. He's also gaunt and dying of cancer. He sees Aunt May at the hospital and starts to have fevered hallucinations that his other "half" is talking to him and telling him that Peter's Aunt is not truly innocent. The symbiote never comes back, but Eddie seems to have a personality disorder and by the end he's putting on a black Spider-Man costume that he ordered off the internet. It hangs on him loose. So the symbiote stays with Mac for now, but there was something undeniably creepy about that last panel with a terminally sick Eddie putting on a nylon black costume.

But my description really doesn't do the issue and Roberto's writing justice. You should buy it.

I still think they are swerving us. I don't think he's going to end up hurting May. I liked the story though I'm hoping this isn't a substitute for Eddie eventually getting the symbiote back.

Yeah, after reading about JJJ and Robbie's confrontation in FNSM, I really want to see how he'll react with Pete face to face. It should be interesting. And I also read the last two ASM issues and the latest SSM issue last night, I'm really looking forward to the Kingpin/Spidey confrontation and seeing what Eddie'll do next. I like how he ordered a black costume to wear, and thought all of it was great writing on RAS's part.

Agreed. I think it's pretty obvious that Brock won't become Venom. Gargan still has the symbiote on the cover of Thunderbolts #116.

The situation looks grim to Brock. Probably he will die next issue, only to be revived few years later
