It's going to get put in with the rest of the estate, who-ever the beneficiary is, will decide what t do with..........anyways, it sounds like nice contract, I would Bale has something similar to that.

All of the things we've heard about Bale is he is a very professional guy when it comes to his acting, have you even seen any of his films before he did BB and TDK? Obviously not or you would know for sure that Bale cares more about the art in what roles he takes than the paycheck he gets!

Yes, I've seen The Machinist, and American Psycho, and also read various interviews, I'm aware of the said troubles he's been through, I'm just presenting another side of the coin. As I said I don't know him personally, and I agree, we've mostly heard good things about him. But how can you be sure of everything that has been said, how many people can confirm of his behavior, we have changed the size of the scope we look him through, now there's a bigger margin. I'm just trying to stay objective, he's one of my favorite actors (one of my dad's too). And please don't assume anything about me, there's no need to, nor there's need to get agitated.

I'd be surprised if Bale got paid 5 million for begins, people hardly knew him before that. I'd say he got 1 million even (maybe even less).
But with TDK he easily got at least 10 million and for the sequel he'll probably get at least 20 million.
I'd also be surprised if Heath got paid that much to play the Joker, 20 million for one movie...you understand thats like Will Smith salary right?

All I know is Ledger's family, especially his daughter Matilda, better be getting around 10% of this movie's worldwide gross. It feels like they are profiting off his death to me. And make no mistake, when all is said and done, his death will probably add $100 million domestic and another $150 million overseas to the film's worldwide gross. WB is making a ****load of money on this. The least they could do is guarantee that Heath's daughter won't have to worry about jack squat the rest of her life.

search anywhere and you'll see what I mean about how professional he is. He's the guy that said he would never do a romantic comedy and that chooses his roles based on how complex and difficult they are, not how much money he's getting.

It would be a hoot seeing Bale in slapstick comedies ala Ben Stiller/Will Ferrel or romantic like Mark Ruffalo/Hugh Grant.

But then again his intensity would scare away the audience.
