You can never have too much jewelry.

I wasn't even aware that JP was gay....and yet you post an incredibly cliche stereotype of a gay man to respond to JP? There are not many gay men that would ever be caught dead in an outfit like that. Myself and JP among those who wouldn't go anywhere near an outfit like that

Nothing wrong with that.I'm just so manleh.
i'm here to do two things, drink milk and kick ass. and as you can see, i've just finished my milk."*enters thread*

I didn't think he was.
is it offensive that i imagined a sassy z snap when i read thisI am just incredibly annoyed anytime anyone uses a cliche gay stereotype to make some kind of point or response. Those types of cliches give the larger majority of us in the gay community who are regular, everyday people a bad reputation.

I was not aware you were gay either.
I say that knowing it's none of our business and that gay men don't always act differently to straight men, But i guess theres still that thought that Gay people always act a little more camp.
Hence when you hear someone is gay that seem's very straight it's like 'oh he's gay i'd never have guessed'. Like gay people have to act gay, just so we know who's gay and who's not.

Steve Regal? I almost forgot about that.I finally decided to come out on the Hype about two weeks ago. I'm not one to create an entire thread on the subject, so I made a very discrete post in the Gay Rights III thread in the Political forum. (I have received nothing but an overwhelmingly positive response.) I am no different than any straight man out there. The only difference is that I am attracted to men. That's why gay cliches annoy me so much. The larger majority of they gay community is nothing like those cliches.
It's a shame that sometimes gay people do get a negative responce. I have 3 children and i teach them that gay people are no different to straight people, they just fall in love with people of the same sex ( i try to keep it simple they are still young, but they seem to take it onboard) I want my children to know if they are gay when they are older me and their mother will be totally understanding and think no less of them. Also that they should treat Gay people with respect.
I say all this knowing of people who look down on gay people, calling it disgusting. It's a real shame. Some people (and religions) disown their own children just for being in love, i find that very sad.

I'm watching a television show with a man in a garbage bag, little people in gnome makeup and white people with really Irish last names.
My real life coming out is another story. It's something that I have been working on for quite some time. Alot of people do know, but there are still close friends and family that do not know. I actually decided to come out to a close friend about two weeks ago and he called me a *** and then went on to tell me about religion and how homosexuality is wrong. Needless to say, our friendship is over...![]()
That's a real shame. I believe in God and i understand what the bible says about it, but also believe the world has changed a heck of alot since the time the bible was written, that maybe God would be ok with it, as long as your happy. It's not like your hurting anyone, you can't help who you fall in love with.
It's a real shame that in the world we live in there is still so many that still cannot accept gay people.
May i ask have you told your parents? how did they take it?
