Well Juggie in X3 was the guy with awful looking fake muscles which may work if they cover them up rather than Juggie who shows too much skin

I actually like that animated version of Bane, much better than the original TAS version anyway.

Juggie looked...okay...in X3. The Spartans looked close to real in 300. I guess thats why I lean towards getting a dude who actually is big enough to play Bane. Wrestlers are not Academy Award winning people, but they are good enough to pull off roles that don't require A, B, or C-list actors.

The later version (in the pic posted above) was much more threatening looking and less camp. Aside from his head, the rest of his costume was closer to that of the comic book version.

I was a squirt when TAS came out, so I wasn't as pumped as I was for The B. But I still remember;

"I will BREAK YOU!!"



And him putting the beat down on Croc? Classic.

Yeah the thing with lips is what repelled me, oh and the later body, thought it was better too, I was just talking about the mask.

truth be told, it really doesn't matter who you get to play Bane. Ideally, you could get a good actor, but with a character like Bane you could just have a guy in the suit doing the physical stuff, and then have someone do voice over work in post production like they did with Darth Vader back in the day.

I think Duncan would make an awsome Croc; however, may sound stupid and possibly predictable, but I was thinkin' about the Rock for Bane. Sure there'd have to be some CGI for the muscle growth, but I think he's a good enough actor.

Hey guys this is my first post.

I personally thought Jeep Swenson was a good Bane but the costume was off and obviously the character wasn't the same.

So far Nathan Jones is probably a really good choice.

However I also think Brock Lesnar should be included as well (he's not super tall (6'3) and Christian Bale is 6 foot. But I think he is a good size. Not too height focussed, not too legnth focussed.

Yeah he's a bit on the fat side but the brute strength and size factor works above that.

Or Kane.

Both have good enough acting ability. Trust me, they wouldn't screw up the role.
