The Dark Knight Rises Bane

I like Batista (WWE). He has the size, the look, and he has good mic skills-which probably translate into decent acting ability. Bane is smart, logical, and I think Batista can pull that off. He did every week on RAW and Smackdown.

The Rock would also be my second choice. I've yet to really see him play a villian. He's been a heel in wrestling, but not a bad guy on the screen. Not really counting the Scorpion King, because that was CGI.

That Singh dude is ripped. He definitely has the look. But I don't know about his acting ability. Nathan Jones is not a bad option either.

If they do introduce Bane, I hope they use the black mask, suit in The Batman cartoon. I thought that look was very cool.

As for the Venom, with a guy like Batista or Singh you don't really need to do CGI. Just have his veins puff out, turn colors or something. They are big enough already. And I don't want a repeat of the Hulk.

Jason Statham would probably do well as Black Mask rather than Killer Croc in my opinion.

Jason Statham should in no way be involved with a Batman movie.

That is The Rock's cousin playing Bane in a fanfilm. Btw, Rock's cosuin is just as big as him.

And although that guy is HUGE, Bane should be even bigger. Batista would be good, great skin color and he's bigger then that guy. He can also speak english.

This Bane looks cool but not big enough for me. Especially looking at the last shot, I mean he's got muscle, but not BANE muscle. Bane in Batman & Robin was bigger and could have done good. But spraypainting him green was stupid and he could barely speak english.

He's just not big enough. I think a huge bodybuilder should play him if he's in another movie, I'm also for Batista or the Great Khali and someone else doing the voice.

I stated that in another section but I think the same goes for here.

Cool picture though. Maybe they could get him to buffen up even more? =P

Like I was saying, thats rock's stunt double but actually, Rock is taller and bigger then him. So if anything, Rock should get the role.

Not to mention his cousin can't act, thats why he's a stunt double and he'll only be known as "The Rock's cousin and stunt double"

lol

Yeah, it's a pretty cool pic, I can't wait to see the fanfilm.

Actually the Rocks stunt double is bigger than the Rock, the Rock at the moment is 220lbs, I believe the stunt doulbe is the same because of the movie shoot at the moment. But the stunt double use to be 280lbs, so he is quite a bit bigger. Plus how do u know he cant act?? He was awesome on Medium.

I am now completely in favor of overdubbing the voice of Bane.
2 reasons:
1) It'll be easier to get the biggest possible guy to play Bane and not worry about whether his english is good.
2) Edward James Olmos should be the voice.

I guess. Earlier when I said something similar to that people got like offended or something.

Tell me that Edward James Olmos as the voice of Bane would not not totally own. I dare you.

Micheal clarke duncan would suck hell as bane i would never go see a movie with micheal clarke duncan as him. Also I heard he isn't even that big of a guy (very short supposedly).

Same...I do not want them changing Bane's ethnicity either...his mom is from some kind of south american country and his dad (King Snake) is british.

Correct! I play Robin in the Bat In The Sun films and I can tell you that Tanoi is Huge! He is actually 2 inches taller than The Rock. He has lost a little weight since he sustained an injury on the set of Constantine, but has since started putting it back on. I think he would be great for a real film version of Bane. He is a good actor as well.

Bat In The Sun films?

what part was he in Constantine?

He was the Bouncer at Pappa Midnights, he also fights JOhn at the end of the film, but most of the film was cut because the studio felt there was too much fighting.

With all due respect, why waste all of your time playing a role in a movie that your director doesn't own the rights to and you get no payback from it, when you could be trying to get a job on a feature film?

That's why I don't make fan films.
