Bangladesh Restaurant Attack

*sigh*

Again with news of innocents being bombed or killed or severely injured by some bunch of ignorant masked pricks who don't bother to read or just read one paragraph and follow orders by some greedy fat fart-heads who use the pretense of being religious scholars and amir to force these ignorant pricks to pledge allegiance to him as a way of masking their greed and gluttony, and not showing that they themselves are half-minded jerks with half-assed understanding prowess when it comes to religion. (news always say that anyway)

Before someone comes in to take another poke at Islam or religion in general for the X time, please take your time to read this post, and think of the numerous ways you could've died with if Muslims around you did not realize what the greeting we speak means. PEACE.

At the end of the day, its people being ****ed up people that commit these atrocities.

Reports are saying that over 10 cops have been wounded in the bombings and subsequent shootout and over 20 people are being held hostage by the terrorists.

****ing cowardly pieces of ****.

I find it interesting that certain Hypesters who usually show up to these threads aren't here to talk about this.

:hmm

Twenty hostages dead, thirteen rescued.

*sigh* :csad:

What is this nonsense? 20 people are dead and your first reaction is to make sure no one blames Muslims or Islam. This is not the time or the place. Yeesh.

I don't need to say my heart goes for the dead so you'd know how I feel about the unpleasant severity of killings and weigh the loss of lives that could've positively served the world more, and how I feel sorry for their families knowing loss, no matter what side they are from.
I'm tired of the nonsense some people here casually spit against religion, especially those with extreme negative opinions and quick fire the blame on religion ignoring how killings could happen for any reason by anyone at any time.
Don't tell me what this is not a time or a place for.

You're quick to ignore the role that religion plays in these types of situations. It's most definitely a problem. It's arguably the most devout of any religion that commit these crimes. They take the words in the holy books to their extreme.

Religion's role is not as big as you think, that's why I said strictly stop blaming religion, it's greedy farts abusing it to mask their greed, and tools who blindly believe the fat farts instead of taking their time to read and see how shallow is the understanding of those using them as cannon fodder.

And you were quick to reacting to my first post, that was your first reaction.

Uh okay? I'm sick of people that make sure everyone knows not to blame Islam when people are killed by militants.

I have no idea what you mean by "greedy farts and tools." It sounds like you're just making up people to blame for attacks like this. Religion does play a large role. Brainwashing and indoctrination starts young and it's the actual words in the books that fuel the fire. If the verses didn't exist, they would have nothing to fall back on.

I made no one, those are the kind you don't focus on.

Militants can be anywhere following any religion, or lack of it. Some people choose to blame religion as the usual scapegoat, ignoring all the violence in the world caused by any reason.

This is driven by religion, though. It's not like these guys were shouting political slogans. They were yelling the usual schtick. If it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck then it must be religiously motivated.

No one is ignoring violence in the world caused by other reasons. You really don't make much sense with your arguments.

Maybe to you, because you don't see how it works.
Did you read my first post stating how someone takes the religion as a pretense to mask his greed, and abuses people who don't read but think they are on the right in their violence and give complete allegiance to the greedy bastard?

That's how these things work, that is how violence like this is motivated. If this doesn't make sense to you, then you have a looooot of thorough studying to do.

It's not like the leaders of these terrorist groups use verses from the holy books to justify their actions. Oh. Wait. They do.

And no. I believe people when they kill in the name of religion. It's the biggest cop out for someone to say so and so isn't a real or true Christian/Muslim/Jew etc.

It's also a cop out to say that a clearly religously motivated attack isn't really a religiously motivated attack even when the attackers proclaim their allegiance to a certain religion. But you know their actual intentions right? It's a mixture of politics and religion, but I don't doubt the sincerity of these men when they claim to be Muslims. They're arguably the most devout, given how closely they follow the verses from their holy books.

I don't know who in this situation, ok? But that's how it always is at least one of those in these situations.

I didn't say the bombers were not real Muslims, but I see this cop-out of immediately crying; "religion is the reason", and in such instances people forget gangs and violent people all over the world that have no specific religious allegiance.

Crime and killings in most cases are caused by greed, I don't see many jumping to blame money for their woes or misery. Do you pay attention to those?

These terrorists, in their own twisted way, believe they're doing the right thing because it's been whispered in their ear since they were little.

Not necessarily since they were little, that's a blanket statement, and is many times untrue.
People go out of their way thinking different from the way they were raised.

Looking at the climate a lot of these ISIS people grow up in, I have a hard time believing they only recently got into the extreme Islam thing. Does it really matter? It's a toxic environment to grow up in.

ISIS leaders and numerous followers grew in friendlier environments.
The article did not specify ISIS, but same method apply.
Extremists don't really understand the religion, leaders are greedy abusive pigs, and plenty of followers are fools who don't bother to read and failed in schools and universities due to their lack of interest in doing so. They fall for being angry and bitter, and promises of AWESOME REWARDS to get if they kill and blow themselves up. They are like gambling addicts, with extremely violent attitudes.

It's just a coincidence that children grow up believing in the same god as their parents :o

Ah the cop out. Extremists don't really understand the religion :whatever:

How convenient.

The promise of Heaven (and whatever comes with that) is one most religious people "fall" for. Not exactly a bunny out of a hat. It's a religious staple.

As for not understanding the religion, I think it's arrogant to assume your interpretation is 100% the correct one. We agree about the leaders.
