I never understood the immense celebration about people being banned. I can understand asking questions about what lead to a banning and Hype rules, but giving people who violated rules so much attention only motivates them more. You guys keep empowering Kevin Smith to come back even stronger.

As much as I'd like to side with you on that one, I couldn't overlook the recent "sexism" discussion

I'm not saying they aren't bad at times. I'm saying they've been worse. Truthfully though, in my experience the Community forum is just as ban worthy. The movie sections can get crazy, but most of it has to do with repeat trolls saying the same thing. I don't engage them any longer so they don't bother me. Plus, I like that fans are passionate, so I enjoy reading those threads most.

The religious debates alone led to lots of fireworks. Though, I will say the BvS forum has the potential to be legendary. Once trailers a pics started being dropped with regularity, I expect real fireworks will fly.

I don't know any other sites that creates entertainment around banned members as much as the Hype. Is that suppose to curtail infraction-worthy behavior? This thread, in my opinion, should just be a thread run by moderators where they make announcements that a poster has been banned, so we don't have to ask question. That may be a lot of work, though, but I'd imagine it'd be more informative for members on this site.

No, I never understood this mentality even before I was probationary banned. I never visited this thread for the first 9 years I was here before getting my first probationary ban. You can jump on me, I just don't really get the celebration-palooza.

You weren't probationary banned. Prob-ban is a suspension. You were REAL banned. As in, you can't use your SentinelMind account anymore. Because, y'know, it's REAL banned and never coming back.

It's often because they were horrible people who everyone hated.
